Eligibility Criteria for Manipur Forest Department B.Sc. (Hons) in Forestry Admission 2020

  • Passed Higher Secondary (10+2) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate of PCB/PCBM/ Inter-Agriculture for General and OBC Categories and 40% marks for SC/ST/PC/in-service categories

Age Criteria

  • The candidates must have attained 16 years of age as on 31st August 2020

  • Prescribed Application Form may be downloaded from the Manipur Forest Department’s Website www.forest.manipurforest.gov.in
  • The prescribed application form with scanned copies of original mark sheets of Class 10th & Class 12 and OBC/SC/ST certificate should be submitted online to the Email ID [email protected] till 05.00 PM of the 09th September 2020

Selection Procedure

  • There shall not be any written examination due to lockdown of COVID-19
  • Selection shall be solely based on marks obtained in 10+2 Examination (Science) in four subjects namely (i) English (ii) Physics (iii) Chemistry and (iv) Biology/Mathematics/Inter-Agriculture
  • The candidates having the highest total marks will be nominated
  • If two or more candidates score the same marks, their inter-se-merit shall be decided in favour of the candidates who have offered Biology, Mathematics and Agriculture in order of preference. In case of further ties, older candidate will be preferred
  • List of selected candidates shall be uploaded on the Department’s Website on or before 10th September 2020
