Eligibility Criteria for DME Andhra Pradesh Nursing Admission 2020

GNM Program

• 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However Science is preferable.

• 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council

• 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/State/Centre

Post Basic Diploma

• Applications for Post Basic Diploma course will be considered only in case of qualified GNM and B.Sc (N) studied in INC and State Nursing Council recognized institutions.

• Be a registered nurse and registered midwife (R.N. & R.M)

• Must Possess a minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse. Nurses from other countries must obtain an equivalence certificate from INC before admission.

• Must be physically fit.

Age Criteria

• Minimum age for admission will be 17 years (as on 31st December of that year). The upper age limit is 35 years. For ANM/ for LHV, there is no age bar.

DME Andhra Pradesh Nursing Admission 2020 Application Process

Online Application form for Convener Quota seats are available in the Director of Medical Education, A.P., Vijayawada official website i.e, http://dme.ap.nic.in and the same is available upto 20.10.2020 and for Management quota seats it is available upto 26-10-2020.

Step-1

Pay registration fee of Rs.500/- through a Govt. Challan through website https://cfms.ap.gov.in/ > Receipts Link > Citizen Challan Creation > crediting to the following Head of Account.

Step-2

Log on to DME Official Website i.e., http://dme.ap.nic.in for online application form. Fill up all the mandatory (*) fields as per the instructions given in the online application and press submit button.

Step-3

Download / Print the filled in application form and submit the same with necessary enclosures to the concerned District Medical & Health Officers either in person or by Registered post with due acknowledgement for both Convener and Management quota seats

Selection Process

• Every Superintendent will be provided with User ID & Password for verification of On-line applications received by them.

• After selection of the candidates, they have to indicate the selected candidates online.

• Only downloaded online filled in applications along with Registration Fee and relevant enclosures have to be accepted.

• Selections will be made purely on merit, on the basis of aggregate mark obtained by the Candidates in the group subjects, excluding languages
