Government of Meghalaya Directorate of Health Services (MI) announces  Admission to Paramedical Courses 2020 against State Quota Seats

DHS Meghalaya Paramedical Admission 2020 – Government of Meghalaya Directorate of Health Services (MI), Government  has invited Online Application in prescribed format for Para-Medical Studies i.e. B.Sc Nursing, B.Pharm, D.Pharm, BMLT, B.Sc Radio Imaging & Cardiac Instrumentation and B.Sc Ophthalmic against State Quota of seats in various Allied courses commencing during 2020-2021

Candidates should indicate clearly the order of their preference for different courses under Allied courses. Preference not indicated against any course will be treated as not opted and preference once indicated cannot be changed.

Eligibility Criteria for DHS Meghalaya Paramedical Admission 2020

Educational Qualifications

Only candidates who are indigenous inhabitants of the State and have passed 10+2 level examination from a recognized University, Board of Authority with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English are eligible to apply (Persons applying for B. Pharm & D. Pharm seat should also have Mathematics as a subject at the 10+2 level examination). Candidates should also secure a minimum of 40% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB).

Age Limit

They should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December, 2020.

Fitness

Applicants should be medically fit.

  • Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website  http://www.meghealth.gov.in/
  • Only those applicants, who apply online before the last date and satisfy the eligibility criteria, will be considered for admission.
  • Read all instructions regarding filling up online forms, and admission to the courses are detailed before filling up the application form available on the official website.

Admission Process

  • Selection of candidates, who are medically fit and eligible will be made purely on the basis of merit and subject to reservation policy of the State Government.
  • The list of selected candidates eligible for undergoing the course will be displayed on the notice board of Directorate of Health Services (MI), Shillong and Office of the District Medical & Health Officer, Tura, West Garo Hills and in Government website and it will also be published in the local dailies published from Shillong and Tura.
