College of Art MFA Admission 2020 – Government of NCT of Delhi College of Art  (affiliated to University of Delhi) invites application for admission to Masters of Fine Arts (MFA) Course for the academic year 2020-21

MFA Specialization

College of Art is an institution established in 1942 for advanced training in Fine Arts.

Specialization offered for Postgraduate Degree Courses are

(a) Applied Art

(b) Painting

(c) Sculpture

(d) Printmaking

(e) Visual Communication

 

The College is under the Faculty of Music & Fine Arts University of Delhi for academic matters and is wholly administered by the Government of NCT of Delhi.

Declaration of Result as per Merit order on the Admission Portal

Payment of Admission Fees for selected candidates – Fee can be paid online or by DD from SBI payable at New Delhi

12th Oct to 16th October 2020

Verification of documents will be done offline in the College Campus

19th & 20th October 2020

Eligibility Criteria for College of Art MFA Admission 2020
  • The admission to post graduate (MFA) courses are merit-based, that is, based on marks scored in Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree (BFA – Regular Mode) Final year (Total of semester VII and VIII) in the relevant Specialization.
  • Eligibility for all specializations is 50% or more marks in the aggregate.
  • Concession of 5% marks (45% in aggregate) in the minimum eligibility requirement will be allowed to:

a)

For Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and EWS Candidates

b)

For Widows and/or children of Armed Personnel/Para Military Forces

c)

For PWD candidates (Persons with Disabilities)

d)

For wards of Kashmiri Migrants

College of Art MFA Admission 2020 Application Process
  • Eligible candidates may apply online at http://colart.delhigovt.nic.in
  • Only eligible applicants who have registered online through the College of Art website portal can be considered for admission.

Application Fee

Candidates should pay through online.

For General/Defence (CW)/KM Category

Rs. 500/-

For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/H&SI/EWS Category

Rs. 250/-

Selection Procedure
  • Only for the Academic Session 2020-21 due to the prevailing conditions of COVID-19, and for the safety and security of the candidates admissions to the post graduate (MFA) Courses are merit-based that is, based on marks scored in Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree (BFA – Regular Mode) Final year (Total of semester VII and VIII) in the relevant Specialization
  • No examination (Interview/Viva) will be conducted in the campus for any category or any specialization of MFA.
