• All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has introduced a unique 2 years’ full time PGDM / MBA program in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Venture Development (IEV) in the year 2019

• This is an action oriented program to provide opportunities for students to work and develop problem solving innovations, acquire entrepreneurship skills and build ventures as part of curriculum.

• This program is an initiative under the National Innovation and Startup Policy of MHRD’s Innovation Cell and AICTE with an objective to make Indian higher education system to produce new generation entrepreneurs capable of building innovative and simultaneously earning master

Eligibility Criteria for AICTE CET-IE 2020

• To pursue this course, the candidates must have completed their graduation in any discipline (10+2+3) or (10+2+4) or (10+3+3).

• The candidates who have an entrepreneurial mindset and ideas, passion for innovation, and strong determination to build and run a startup as a career are preferred for this course.

AICTE CET-IE 2020 Application Process

• Application must be done online only by using the registration link (http://cet.cbtexam.in) in AICTE web page (www.aicteindia.org) and MHRD’s Innovation Cell (MIC) webpage (www.mic.gov.in).

All payments towards registration fee to be made through online mode only. Registration fee for appearing online test for different categories as below

CET is a online proctored computer-based test

The duration of the exam is 90 minutes with 30 minutes as preparation time

AICTE CET-IE 2020 Syllabus & Questions

Total 150 numbers of questions with all objective and multiple choice related to innovation, entrepreneurship, IPR, startup under following sections (all the questions will be in English only).

Final Selection

• Each Institute will carry out GD/PI separately for the eligible/shortlisted candidates preferred for admission upon selection during the registration.

• Each institute will display the dates and time for GD/PI in the institute’s webpage and also communicate to candidates immediately after the result announcement regarding GD/PI those who have opted their institute for admission.

Admission Period

• As per AICTE guideline, admission process and commencement of class will be completed before 15th October 2020 (revised AY 202-21 Admission).
