ANGRAU PhD Admission 2020 – Acharya N.G Ranga Agricultural University invites applications for admission into PhD Course under in-service quota for the academic year 2020-21 from teachers with minimum of 3 years regular service whose probation was declared as teachers in the ANGRAU.

Eligibility Criteria for Acharya N.G Ranga Agricultural University PhD Admission 2020

Minimum Qualifications

Passed Master degree in the concerned faculty and major field with a minimum of 50% marks in traditional system or for General OGPA of 7.50 / 10:00 or 3.25/4.00; SC/ST Candidates with a pass in traditional system or OGPA of 7.00 / 10:00 or 3.00/4.00 are eligible.

Basic Degree i.e. B.Sc. (Ag.) as the case may be is essential.
In-service teacher of ANGRAU with M.Sc in pure science is also eligible, provided he/she has put in a total regular service of not less than ten years as a teacher in the ANGRAU in the concerned subject.

The in-service candidates who have put in minimum 3 years of service/whose probation was declared are eligible for admission.
They will be permitted to study for two semesters with pay and allowances.

Age Limit

The upper age limit is 47 years (releasable by 5 years for women /SCs/STs) of age as on 01-07-2020

Acharya N.G Ranga Agricultural University PhD Admission 2020 Application Process
  • Eligible Candidates can downloaded application form from official website http://angrau.ac.in/
  • The inservice teachers should submit their applications in the proforma along with copies of certificates to their respective Heads of Office well in advance so as so to enable them to verify the particulars furnished in the applications and forward them so as to reach the Registrar, ANGR Agricultural University, Guntur-522034, AP, on or before 26th October 2020 by 4:00 PM in an envelope superscribed as "Application for PhD Admission 2020-21-Inservice.
  • To avoid delay, the advance copy shall be sent so as to research the Registrar, ANGRAU, Guntur before the due date.
  • Endorsement of the Head of Office at the space provided in the application is sufficient and separate covering letter is not required. The Heads of Institutions/Officers are requested to bring this to the notice of all concerned/display in the notice board and also to ensure that the application submitted by the candidates are promptly forwarded so as to reach the University before the prescribed date.

Selection Process
  • The Selection shall be based on Qualifications, Regular Service in the ANGRAU, Service in Remote areas of the ANGRAU, Publications, Achievements and Interview.
