Undergraduate Degree Programs

A candidate seeking admission should be a permanent resident/ domicile of J&K and Ladakh UT with minimum age of 17 years and maximum of 28 years as on 31-12-2020 should have passed 10+2/Higher Secondary Part-II or equivalent examination from a recognized statutory Board/University with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics and having aggregate marks not less than 50% for OM and 40% for reserved category candidates.

Note

Candidates who have appeared and or likely to appear in Higher Secondary part II (12th or 10+2) can also apply provided they produce Higher Secondary part II (12th or 10+2) marks sheet issued by a competent examination body at the time of counseling and fulfill all other eligibility requirements of admission.

Master Degree Programmes

For all Master Degree Programmes, a candidate must possess Bachelor’s degree of 10+2+4 duration or above in the concerned/ related field as indicated against each with OGPA of not less than 2.80 on 4.00 scale or 6.00 on 10.00 scale or 60% aggregate marks in annual traditional system from Institutions/Universities recognized by ICAR/VCI/UGC.

Candidates appearing in the final examination and likely to get awarded degree by or before the date of counseling can also apply provided fulfilling other requirements of admission.

1. Eligible candidates can apply Online Only through University website www.skuastkashmir.ac.in from (10.00 AM) 18th April 2020 to 18th May 2020 (11:59 PM).

1. Before filling up the application form, the candidates should check eligibility and other required details thoroughly. Any deviation/negligence will be the sole responsibility of the candidate

1. Before applying online, a candidate must ensure that he/she has scanned the image of his photograph, signature and thumb-impression in JPEG/JPG format saved on the computer; candidate should also have his/her payment mode details handy.

1. The students must, in their own interest, download the Information Bulletin and understand eligibility criteria and other required information.

1. The selection for admission to Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses will be based on a written test.

1. On the basis of the Entrance Exam, a merit list of all the candidates will be prepared and the candidates shortlisted for counseling will be declared and placed on the university website www.skuastkashmir.ac.in.

1. Entry in the Test Centre/venue shall be subject to the production of valid Admit Card.

1. The Admit Cards will be available online. The candidates are advised to download their Admit Cards from the University website: www.skuastkashmir.ac.in about a week‟ time before the date of UET.

1. Candidates shall have to preserve the admit card in their own interest till the completion of the admission process by the University.
