Aim
- Sainik School Balachadi, Jamnagar an English Medium Boys Residential Public School affiliated to CBSE,prepares boys for 10+2 (Science Stream) Examination
- The primary aim of the School is to prepare boys academically, physically and mentally for entry into the National Defence Academy, Pune/Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala for officer cadre of the Armed Forces
Eligibility Criteria
- For class 6: The students should be 10 to 12 years old (01 April 2011 to 31 March 2013).
- For class 9: The students should be 13 to 15 years old (01 April 2008 to 31 March 2010).
- As on 31 March 2023.
Reservation
- 15% of the total seats are reserved for SC and 7.5% seats for ST
- Out of the remaining seats (77%), 67% of the seats will be reserved for boys from the Gujarat State
- Balance 33% left over of seats will be thrown open to boys from other States and Union Territories in the ratio of their male population. Any unutilised seats in this category will be merged with home state seats
- 25% seats are reserved for wards of Defence personnel including ex-servicemen(Excluding SC/ST)
Admission Fees
- Annual Fees Rs. 1,24,000/- approximately. Different types of scholarships are given by Central & State Government depending upon the Parents’ monthly Income
- Reimbursement of Tuition Fees of Class 11 & 12 on joining NDA/NA. Reimbursement of Tuition Fees (Class VI to X) for Gujarat Domicile Cadets on Commissioning in Defence Services. Final Annual Fees will be informed at the time of Admission.
