Eligibility Criteria for Gujarat University Admission 2020

  • Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10 + 2) from any The Gujarat Board/ The Central Board of Secondary Education/ The Council of Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
  • Passed (10 + 2) qualifying examination with the following subjects – English and Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Statistics or Physics or Chemistry or Biology or Accountancy or Elements of Accountancy.
  • A student who has passed the qualifying examination from other than Gujarat Board and other than CBSE schools of Gujarat State shall be required to submit Provisional Eligibility Certificate (PEC) from Gujarat University to the allotted college at the time of admission.

Gujarat University Admission 2020  Application Process

  • Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website www.gujaratuniversity.ac.in
  • A student seeking admission shall apply on-line, for the registration of his/her candidature, on the website, within the time limit specified by the Admission Committee.
  • For the purpose of registration, a student shall be required to make payment of such sum total towards the Registration fee, etc. as determined by the Admission Committee.
  • Where a student has made more than one registration, the registration made at the later stage shall be taken into consideration for admission purpose and the other registration shall be treated as cancelled.
  • Before filling an online application, form keeps all your documents & mobile phone with you. Scan copy in jpg format of Photo, Signature (As per Booklet), HSC Mark Sheets (As per Booklet) & Caste/PH Certificates (if required) ready with you.

Note

Student, who has not opted Accountancy as a subject in standard 12 and taken admission in B. Com./B.B.A./B.C.A. Course, has to clear Bridge Course of Accountancy before completion of First Semester by paying Rs. 1000 as an additional tuition fees and Rs. 500/- exam fees at Gujarat University Admission Committee (GUAC).

Admission Procedure

  • The admission procedure shall be conducted online in the following manner:
  • The Admission Committee shall prepare a merit list of the eligible students who have applied.
  • The merit lists shall be displayed on the web-site of the Admission Committee and by such other means, as the Committee may consider convenient.
  • The Admission Committee shall publish the schedule of online counseling program on its web-site or by advertisement in the prominent newspapers widely circulated in the State, by web-site or by such other means, as it may consider convenient.
  • The student shall be required to indicate minimum 25 college preferences in his/her order of choices of programmes and university schools, departments, colleges or institutions, online.
