APRDC CET 2020 – Andhra Pradesh Residential Educational Institutions Society (APREIS) has released the APRDC Common Entrance Test (APRDC CET) 2020 notification for admission into first -year Degree courses in APR Degree Colleges for the academic year 2020. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates from March 23, 2020 till April 22, 2020. APRDC CET 2020 will be held on May 14, 2020.

APRDC CET 2020

  1. APRDC CET 2020 notification and exam details have been announced by Andhra Pradesh Residential Education Institution Society (APREIS) on behalf of AP Govt.
  1. APREI Society is conducting APRDC CET 2020 in district headquarters of AP, and also in Hyderabad and Warangal Centre of Telangana.
  1. Admissions into AP Residential Degree College, Vijayapuri South, Nagarjuna Sagar (Men, English Medium only) & Silver Jubilee Govt. College (Co-Education & Autonomous), Kurnool in their campus for the academic year 2020
  1. Admission into I year Degree Course B.A. (HEP), B.Com (General), B.Sc., (Maths, Physics & Chemistry) and B.Sc. (Maths, Stat and Computer Science) in A.P. Residential Degree College, V.P South, Nagarjuna Sagar will be given based on merit in RDC-CET 2020
  1. The medium of instruction is English only.

Eligibility Criteria for APRDC CET 2020

  1. Students who have appeared for Senior Intermediate Examination in March/April – 2020 conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, A.P and Board of Intermediate of Telangana. or equivalent to Intermediate of A.P & Telangana. Are Only eligible to appear for the test subject to the other conditions.
  1. The students who appeared for the intermediate instant examinations in 2020 are not eligible for admission.
  1. They should have passed the qualifying examination in one and first attempt in IPE- March 2020 and should have secured 50% of marks on aggregate and 40% of marks in English subject (there is a relaxation of 5% in the case of SC/ST/BCs).
  1. For B.A- all the students are eligible irrespective of subjects studied in Intermediate.
  1. But they have to opt History, Economics and Civics in the Entrance Test. For B.Com -Students of CEC or any other group are eligible. But they have to opt Economics, Commerce-I, Commerce-II in the Entrance Test.
  1. For B.Sc., (Maths, Statistics and Computer Science) – the students of MEC are eligible and they have to opt Maths, Economics and Commerce- I in Entrance.
  1. For B.Sc courses Students must have studied the respective subjects at Intermediate level.

 

APRDC CET 2020 Application Process

Eligible candidates can apply online through official website http://apreis.apcfss.in/

Steps to be followed for submission of online application.

The candidate shall first go through the information bulletin carefully and satisfy their eligibility for appearing for RDC-CET 2020.

The candidate after satisfying himself/herself about the eligibility criteria for the submission of application through online shall pay a fee of Rs.250.00 from 23rd March 2020 to 22nd April 020 for submission of application through Online.

The candidate has to give the required preliminary data (i.e. Name of the candidate, Date of birth and mobile phone number).

On receipt of fee, the candidate shall be issued a Journal Number’ with which she/he can proceed with submission of application online through the website http://aprjdc.apcfss.in Issue of Journal Number does not mean that the candidate has completed submission of application online. It is only a confirmation of the fee received.

 

Selection Process

Selection of students shall be made based on the following:

In case of tie among the candidates with same marks in the entrance test, the order of the merit will be decided as follows:

APRDC CET 2020 Hall Tickets

  1. Candidates can download their Hall Tickets from the website at http://aprjdc.apcfss.in from 08th May 2020 to14th May 2020 with the reference number allotted to them.
  1. Candidates have to download the hall tickets from the website only. No printed hall ticket shall be issued/posted to the candidate.
  1. Request for issue of duplicate Hall Ticket will not be entertained.
  1. Without a hall ticket, no candidate will be allowed to appear for the examination.
