Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board Notification for PGCET 2019

MCAER PG CET 2019 - Applications are invited for Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Exam Board MCAER PGCET 2019 Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board (MAUEB) conducts the Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to various Post Graduate Programs in the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) in Maharashtra.

MCAER PG Admission 2019 will be given on the basis of merit formulated by considering weightage of 70% of the MCAER PG CET 2019 score and 30% of the CGPA of the students

  • Date of Notification: 12th December 2018
  • Last Date of Receiving Online Applications: 10th January 2019
  • Last Date of Payment of Fees through Challan: 14th January 2019
  • Date of Display of eligible candidates list: 24th January 2019
  • Date of Grievances for Student: 25th to 31st January 2019
  • Date of Display of final eligible candidates List: 07th February 2019
  • Date of Online Admit Cards*: 08th March 2019
  • Date of MCAER PG CET-2019: 16th, 17th, & 19th March 2019
  • Date of Display of Answer Keys of all streams: 03rd April 2019

Only the students possessing the required qualifying degree as per the eligibility; those students who have appeared for the final degree exam for the academic year 2019-20 are eligible to appear for the MCAER PG CET 2019

  • M.Sc. (Agri.) 2 years (4 Semesters): B.Sc. (Agri) or B.Sc. (Hort) or B.Sc. (Forestry) or B.Sc. (Agril Biotechnology) or BBM (Agri)/B.Sc. (ABM) or B. Tech (Food Science/Tech)* or B. MCAER PG CET 2019 Exam Pattern

  • The Examination will have questions of objective nature along with answers in the form of 4 alternatives. There will not be any choice or option for questions, i.e. all questions have to be answered
  • Number of Questions: 200
  • Total Marks: 200
  • Type of Questions: MCQ
  • The candidate has to mark the correct answer by blackening the corresponding circle against the serial number of the question in the OMR sheet with black ink ballpoint pen only
  • Each correct answer will be given one mark. There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers

Examination Fees

  • A student will have to pay the exam fees through self-generated acknowledgment, after submitting online application form you should take acknowledgment. The exam fees per CET to be paid through challan will be as follows:
    • Students belonging to Open Category: Rs.600/- per CET
    • Students belonging to Reserved Category*: Rs.300/- per CET
    • Students belonging to Other States: Rs.600/- per CET
  • The candidate should not send hard copy of application form, challan and supporting documents to the MAUEB, Pune office

 

MCAER PG CET 2019 Application Procedure

  • The online application form for CET-2019-20 for admission to PG Program is available on www.mcaer.org
  • Candidates are required to take help of the following instructions for filling the online application form. After submitting online application form, candidate should take SBI Bank Challan print out, which is in two parts
  • Fill the Online Application Form carefully and upload scanned photograph and signature (Size of Photograph and Signature should not be greater than 35 KB, 30KB respectively). Please remember the password given by you. It is important for further Login
  • Printout of online application form with a copy of bank challan, one passport-size photograph to be pasted on the space provided on the application form, candidate’s signature, authentication attested from College Principal/Associate Dean and caste and non-creamy layer certificate (do not staple), if applicable should be submitted in person or through post the Controller, Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board, MCAER Building, 132/B, Bhamburda, Bhosalenagar, Pune-411007 (Maharashtra)
