MMMUT Admission 2021 – Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology (MMMUT), Gorakhpur (UP) invites application for admission to Admissions to UG & PG Courses like B.Tech (First Year)/ B.Tech (Second Year) Lateral Entry/BBA / Bharma / MBA / MCA / M.Tech. / M.Sc. /Ph.D. thorough Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test (UPCET) 2021

About MMMUT Admission 2021

  • Admission in different undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur will be made through the Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test (UPCET) 2021
  • According to the exam’s merit list,  MMMUT Counselling will be conducted under the supervision and control of the University Admission Committee (UAC) for the academic year 2021
  • UPCET 2021 covers admission to the first year of the following courses offered by MMMUT, Gorakhpur for the academic year 2021-22.

MMMUT Admission 2021 Important Dates

  • Extension of the last date for submission of online applications :- 06th July 2021 (upto 5.00 PM)
  • Last date for payment of exam fee online :- 06th July 2021 (Upto 11.50 PM)
  • Correction window From :- 08th July 2021 to 14th July 2021
  • The revised date of the exam will be announced in due course.

Eligibility Criteria for MMMUT Admission 2021

For B.Tech. (First Year) :- 

  • The candidate should have passed 10 + 2 examinations with at least 55%marks (50%in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) and with at least 60% average marks (55%in the case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

For  B.Tech. (2nd year) :-

  • For admission to second year of B.Tech. under lateral entry:
  • Diploma holders: Passed 3/4 year diploma examination from an institution recognized by U.P. Board of Technical Education in any branch of engineering/technology except agriculture engineering with at least 60% marks (55% in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category).

For the first year of B. Pharm:

  • Candidates must have passed (with/without grace) intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/ Biology subject.

For B.Sc. graduates: –

  • Passed 3/4 year B.Sc. degree from any recognized University of India as defined by UGC with at least 60% marks (55% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) and having passed 10+2 exam with Mathematics as a subject.
  • The candidates belonging to B.Sc. stream shall be considered only after filling the seats with the candidates belonging to the diploma stream.

For B.B.A. :-

  • The candidate should have passed 10 + 2 examination in any discipline, with at least 55% marks (50% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) and English must be one of the subjects at 10+2 level.

For M.B.A. :-

  •  The candidate should have passed the recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration from any University of India as recognized by UGC with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination.

For M.C.A. :-

  • The candidate should have passed the recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration from any University of India as defined by UGC with mathematics at 10+2 level and obtained minimum 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination.

For M.Sc. Physics :-

  • The candidate should have passed the recognized Bachelor’s degree in science stream of minimum three years duration from any University of India as recognized by UGC.
  • The candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with Physics as a subject for all the three years and with mathematics as another subject for at least two years and obtained minimum 50%marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination.

For M.Sc. Maths :-

  • The candidate should have passed the recognized Bachelor’s degree in science stream of minimum three years duration from any University of India as recognized by UGC.  
  • The candidates must have passed qualifying examination with Mathematics as a subject for all the three years and obtained minimum 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination.

For M.Sc. Chemistry :-

  • The candidate should have passed the recognized Bachelor’s degree in science stream of minimum three years duration from any University of India as recognized by UGC. The candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with Chemistry as a subject for all the three years and obtained minimum 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination.

 For M.Tech. Courses :

  • B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent Engineering degree in Civil/ Environmental/ Chemical/ Structural/Agricultural/ Construction Technology/ Construction Technology and Management with First Class or, if a class/ division is not awarded, and CGPA/CPI is adopted, 6.75 will be considered equivalent to first class/ division.

 For  Ph.D. Courses :-

  • Candidates who possess the Bachelor and Master’s degree in Engineering/ Technology/Science/ Management or equivalent in a relevant discipline with 1st Division in Master Degree are eligible for admission to Ph.D. Programme.

MMMUT Admission 2021 Application Process

  • Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website http://www.mmmut.ac.in/
  • Candidate should fill up the On-line application form, from anyplace through internet by login on to www.mmmut.ac.in from 01st April 2021 to 30th April 2021
  • The candidate is required to fill a separate online application form for each course.
  • The candidates have to deposit the application fee online as per the provisions made in online form.
  • The candidates must ensure that after submitting the online application form, no changes are allowed in any field at a later stage.
  • Candidates are advised to read this Information Brochure carefully, check their eligibility and applicable reservation category etc. before filling and submitting the application form.

Application Fee

  • Males/ Third Gender / General /OBC Category/ GEN-EWS :- Rs1300/-
  • Females / Scheduled castes / Scheduled tribes / PwD candidates of all categories :-  Rs. 650/
  • The online fee payment can be made through online mode by using Debit Card/Credit Card/Net banking option.

Admit Card

  • Admit card can be downloaded from the University website www.mmmut.ac.in. However, the original admit card will be made available to the candidates at the time of entrance test in the examination hall.
  • It is the responsibility of candidates to paste his/her photograph and put signature in the space provided and get the photo verified by the invigilator before leaving the examination hall.

Details of Examination

  • Mode of exam: Exams will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
  • Duration : 02 hours for all UG & PG & 03 hours for B.Pharma
  • Pattern of the question paper: The paper will be of objective type comprising Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • Medium of the exam: The question papers of undergraduate courses and MBA (Integrated) and MCA (Integrated) courses will be bi-lingual both in English and Hindi. The question papers for post graduate level exams will be in English only.
  • Total marks : 300 marks M.Sc. (Maths/ Physics/Chemistry) & M.Tech.  Courses
  • Total marks :  600 marks for B.Pharma Courses
  • Total marks : 400 for other UG & PG Courses
