KLEU AIET 2018 UG / PG Admission 2018 through Entrance Test

KLEU AIET 2018 - KLE University will conduct the KLE University All India Entrance Test-2018 (KLEU-AIET-2018) on 02nd week of June 2018 for admission to various Undergraduate and Postgraduate Courses in the constituent units of the KLE University for the academic year 2018-19

Under Graduate Courses - B.Pharm/Pharm.D / BAMS/BPT/B.Sc. (Nursing) / PB B.Sc. (Nursing)

Post Graduate Courses - M.Pharm / MPT/ M.Sc. (Nursing)
Students will be admitted to various Courses in the constituent colleges of KLE University viz., KLE College of Pharmacy located at Belagavi, Hubli and Bengaluru, KLE Institute of Physiotherapy, Belagavi, KLE Institute of Nursing Science, Belagavi and KLE Shri BMK Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya Belagavi on the basis of interse merit earned by them in the KLEU-All India Entrance Test (KLEU-AIET-2018-19)

Eligibility Criteria

For Undergraduate Courses

  • Only those candidates who would satisfy or are likely to satisfy the relevant eligibility requirements for admission to a course will be considered eligible to appear for the KLEU All India Entrance Test (KLEU AIET 2018-19) and subsequent for admission to that course

Qualification

  • Candidates who are likely to appear or who have appeared for qualifying examination i.e. PUC II /10+2/HSC or equivalent but whose results have not been declared will also be considered eligible to appear for KLEU-AIET-2018-19 provide they have offered the above mentioned subject at the said exam; or
  • Candidates should have passed qualifying exam from a board recognized by the MHRD, Govt. of India
  • B. Pharm (4 years): Candidates must have passed 10+2 exam with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subject along with one of the mathematics/computer sciences/biotechnology/biology/technical vocational/PC and Electronics subjects
  • Obtained at least 40 % marks in the above subjects together
  • Lateral Entry in 2nd year B.Pharm: D.Pharm candidates passed from any PCI approved institution with at least 50% marks
  • 5% relaxation in Minimum eligibility criteria for candidates belonging to reserved category
  • Pharm.D (5+1 Internship or Residency): A pass in any of the following examinations: 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics or Biology
  • A pass in D.Pharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act
  • Pharm.D (PB) [2 years + 1 year internship]: B.Pharm from an institution recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate

Ayurveda

  • BAMS [4 ½ years + 1-year Internship]: 50% and above aggregate marks in P.C.B in 10+2 or Pass in English
  • BPT [4 ½ years including 6 months Internship]: 40% and above aggregate marks in P.C.B in 10+2 or Pass in English; 5% Relaxation in Minimum eligibility criteria for SC/ST category
  • B.Sc. (Nursing) [4 years including 6 months Internship]: 45% and above aggregate marks in PCB together in 10 + 2 or; Pass in English; 5% relaxation in Minimum eligibility criteria for candidates belonging to SC/ST category
  • Be physically fit (Certificate to be issued by Registered Medical
  • PB-B.Sc. (Nursing) [2 Years]: Passed in G.N.M. (Diploma Program); to be a Registered Nurse; be physically fit (Certificate to be issued by Registered Medical Practitioner)

 

For Post Graduate Courses

  • Only those candidates who would satisfy or are likely to satisfy the relevant eligibility requirements for admission to a course will be considered eligible to appear for the KLEU All India Entrance Test (KLEU-AIET -2018-19) Other PG & subsequently for admission to that course
  • As per the regulations of statutory bodies, as laid out in Postgraduate regulations the minimum percentage of marks in the entrance test for eligibility for admission to Post Graduate Courses shall be 50%
  • Candidate should have passed qualifying exam from a board recognized by the MHRD, Govt. of India
  • M.Pharm (2 years): (i) Aggregate of 55% marks obtained in Bachelors in Pharmacy or equivalent degree (ii) 5% relaxation in Minimum eligibility criteria for candidates belonging to reserved category
  • M.P.T (2 years): 50% and above aggregate marks in BPT from a recognised University
  • M.Sc. (Nursing) (2 years): (i) 55% and above aggregate marks in B.Sc. (Nursing) Basic / Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing); (ii) Be a registered Nurse; (iii)Possess at least one year of experience; (iv) Be Physically fit (Certificate to be issued by Registered Medical Practitioner)

 

Exam Pattern

  • The KLEU AIET Entrance Exam will be held on 02nd week of June 2018 through offline mode. The medium of the question paper is English
  • 200 Multiple Choice Questions will be asked in the question paper. 50 questions will be asked from each as Physics, Chemistry, Botany & Zoology that is followed by 10+2 level syllabus. One mark will be awarded for each correct answer. There will be no negative marking. The duration of the exam is 3 hours
  • Physics - 50 Questions
  • Chemistry - 50 Questions
  • Biology - 50 Questions
  • Zoology - 50 Questions

Reservation

  • Management Category seats for NRI & Foreign candidates 15%
  • KTC Category (Children of Teaching Faculty of KLE University) 2.5%
  • BRD Category (Students hailing from educationally backward Belagavi Revenue Division)

 

Admit Card

  • Candidates can download their admit card from the official portal of the University. The KLEU AIET Admit Card 2018 will be available from month of June 2018
  • There is no procedure to send the admit card through post or email. Candidates can keep the admit card for counselling and admission process

KLEU AIET Result 2018

  • The KLEU AIET Result 2018 will be announced by the conducting authority. Candidates can check their result from the official portal on month of June 2018
  • On the basis of scores obtained by the candidate in the entrance exam, the merit list will be prepared

 

Application Procedure

  • KLE University has released the notification regarding admission to various UG and PG courses. The notification has been released on 04th May 2018. KLEU AIET Application Form 2018 is available through online process from the website. Candidates can get the application form from 05th May 2018
  • The last date to fill the form will be 20th June 2018. After submitting the online application form, candidates may download the filled online application form and submit it to the given address through offline mode. On the downloaded print copy of the form, the declaration is to be signed both by the candidate and parent/guardian of the candidate
  • Those candidates belong to the BRD and KTC Category, they have to enclose all the necessary documents with the online application form / acknowledgement. Candidates have advised to keep the print copy of the online application form/ acknowledgement for further use. Last Date to submit the Printed Online Application will be 10th June 2018 (by 04:00 p.m.)
  • Candidates are advised to obtain & preserve proof of the 'Printed online' application form/ acknowledgement. This may be useful for obtaining duplicate Test Admission Ticket (TAT) card if required
  • The eligible candidates willing to appear for the entrance test may apply online through the University website www.kleuniversity.edu.in within the stipulated time
  • Application Form Fe to be paid Online Rs.1000/- (Without Fine) Rs.1500/- (With Fine)
