Jadavpur University M.Phil Admission Eligibility Criteria 2021
- Candidates who have completed results of Masters Course or equivalent in the relevant subject
- Linguistics: Master’s Degree or equivalent in Linguistics
- Oceanography & Coastal Management: Master’s Degree or equivalent in Science/ Fisheries Science/Economics/Geography
- Women’s Studies: Master’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline
- Cognitive Science: Master’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline (Engineering/ Medicine/Science/ Arts)
- General at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale
- S.C. / S.T./ P.D./OBC-A/OBC-B at least 50% or its equivalent grade
- Candidates who had obtained their Master’s degree prior to 19 th September, 1991 at least 50% or its equivalent grade

- You need to enter your personal and educational information here.Upload the image files of UG final exam Marksheet, PG final exam Marksheet and SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PwD Certificate (where applicable) in .jpg or .jpeg format. Maximum size 100kb.
- Choose the subject(s) carefully. Because you have to pay ( Rs. 100/- for each subject) for all the departments you apply for.
Selection Procedure
- Selection of candidates will be made in order of merit, ascertained on the basis of 70% weight on marks obtained in an online admission test* and 30% weight on marks obtained in an online interview.
- * The candidates under General category must secure at least 50% marks in the admission test for consideration in the online interview list.
