KLE University KLEU AIET 2016-17

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for KLE University All India Entrance Test (KLEU AIET) 2016.The KLE University will be conducting All India Entrance Test-2016 (KLEU-AIET-2016) on Saturday, 07th May 2016 for admission to various Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate courses in the constituent units of the KLE University for the academic year 2016-17

KLEU AIET 2016 is the Entrance Exam conducted by KLE University for admission to MBBS, BDS, B.Pharm, Pharm. D. BPT, B.Sc Nursing, PB B.Sc Nursing and BAMS programs  2016-17

Courses Offered - UG & PG Programs

KLE University Belgaum has the following constituent colleges, offering specific programs

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria and other details for admission to various Under Graduate courses in the disciplines of Pharmacy/Ayurveda/Physiotheraphy and Nursing in the Constituent Units of KLE University for the year 2016-17 is given below:

Under Graduate Courses

MBBS: Candidates seeking admission to MBBS course, the candidate should have scored minimum 60% marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in the qualifying exam i.e. XIIth/PUC II/10+2/HSC/equivalent exam; the candidate should also have scored 50% marks in English language in the qualifying exam

Candidates who are likely to appear or who have appeared for qualifying exam i.e., PUC II/10+2/HSC or equivalent but whose results have not been declared will also be considered eligible to appear for KLEU-AIET-2016-17, provided they have offered the above mentioned subjects at the said exam

The candidates who have passed the qualifying exam [XIIth/PUC-II/ 10+2/HSC/B.Sc degree/first year of three year degree course as specified by MCI to be considered as eligibility for appearing in entrance test] earlier than 2014 are not eligible for applying to KLEU-AIET-2016-17 for seeking admission to MBBS course

The candidates shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December 2016 of the year of admission to the MBBS/BDS course

BDS: Candidates seeking admission to BDS course, the candidate should have scored minimum 50% marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in the qualifying exam i.e. XIIth/PUC II/10+2/HSC/equivalent exam; the candidate should also have passes in English language in the qualifying exam

Candidates who are likely to appear or who have appeared for qualifying exam i.e., PUC II/10+2/HSC or equivalent but whose results have not been declared will also be considered eligible to appear for KLEU-AIET-2016-17, provided they have offered the above mentioned subjects at the said exam

The candidates who have passed the qualifying exam (XIIth/PUC-II/10+2/HSC/B.Sc-Degree/first year of 3 year degree course as specified by Dental Council of India to be considered as eligibility for appearing in entrance test)

Candidate should have passed qualifying exam from a board recognized by the MHRD, Govt. of India

The candidates shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December 2016 of the year of admission to the MBBS/BDS course

B.Pharm: Candidates should have passed 10+2 exam with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the mathematics/Computer Sci/ Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational/ PC & Electronics subjects; Obtained at least 40% marks in the above subjects together

Lateral entry in 2nd year B.Pharm: D.Pharm candidates passed from a PCI approved institution with at least 50% marks; 5% relaxation in minimum eligibility criteria for candidates belonging to reserved category

Pharm.D: A pass in any of the following exams: (i) 10+2 Exam with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects Mathematics or Biology; (or) (ii) A pass in D.Pharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act

BAMS (Ayurveda): 50% and above aggregate marks in PCB in 10+2; Candidates Pass in English

Duration: 4½ years plus 1-year internship; Intake: 100

BPT (Physiotherapy): Candidates should have passed 40% and above aggregate marks in PCB in 10+2; Pass in English; 5% Relaxation in Minimum eligibility criteria for SC/ST category

Duration: 4½ years including 6 months Internship; Intake: 80

B.Sc (Nursing): 45% and above aggregate marks in PCBE in 10+2; Candidate should also have passes in Englishlanguage; 5% relaxation in minimum eligibility criteria for candidates belonging to SC/ST category

Be physically fit (Certificate to be issued by Registered Medical Practitioner)

Duration: 4½ years including 6 months Internship; Intake: 100

PB-B.Sc (Nursing): Candidates should have passed in GNM (Diploma programme); to be a Registered Nurse and; be physically fit (Certificate to be issued by Registered Medical Practitioner)

Duration: 2 years; Intake: 50

Post Graduate Courses

M.Pharm: Aggregate of 50% marks obtained in Bachelors in Pharmacy or equivalent degree recognized by Pharmacy council of India; 5% relaxation in minimum eligibility criteria for candidates belonging to reserved category

MD/MS/Diploma

Degree / Diploma Course: A candidate who has passed the MBBS Degree exam after pursuing a study in a Medical College recognized by the MCI of this university or of other recognized Medical College affiliated to any other university, recognized as equivalent thereto, and has completed one-year Compulsory Rotating Internship in a teaching institution or other institution recognized by the Medical council of India, and has obtained permanent registration of any Medical Council, shall be eligible

The candidate should have also secured at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taking together at KLEU-PGAIET Exam

M.D (Ayurveda): 50% and above in B.A.M.S from a recognised University

M.Sc - Nursing: Candidates should have 55% and above aggregate marks in B.Sc (Nursing) Basic/Post Basic B.Sc Nursing)

Be a registered Nurse; possess at least one year of experience; be physically fit (Certificate to be issued by Registered Medical Practitioner)

How to Apply

A candidate desirous of appearing in the KLEU-AIET-2016-17, is required to complete the prescribed online application form available on the University website and submit the same to the University online, on or before the scheduled date

The hard copy (Printout) of the application form submitted online must reach the University office on or before the scheduled date i.e. 30th April 2016 by 05.00 pm

If you fill more than one application by making different payment, no amount will be refunded

Candidates are advised to obtain & preserve proof of the 'Printed Online' application form/acknowledgement; this may be useful for obtaining duplicate Test Admission Ticket (TAT) card if required

Please note that this fee is non-refundable, even if the application is rejected because of incomplete application or ineligibility of the candidate or if the applicant does not appear for the Entrance Test

Issue of Tat Cards

TAT Cards will have to be downloaded by the candidates from the University Website w.e.f. Tuesday, 03rd May 2016, 08.00 pm onwards

The TAT Card will indicate the TAT Number and Exam Centre allotted to the candidate with its address (TAT card will not be sent through post or Email)

In case a candidate does not found his / her TAT Card (Hall Ticket) by Thursday, 05th May 2016 from University website; he/she should contact University office immediately
