Dravidian University Admission Notice (UG/PG Courses) for the year 2016-17

Dravidian University, Kuppam, has announced Dravidian University Common Entrance Test (DUCET-2016) for admission into the MA, M.Sc., M.Com, M. L.I.Sc., M.Ed and MSW Programmes for the academic year 2016-17

Applications are invited for admission to PG Courses through Common Entrance Test (DUCET-2016). Candidates appearing for final year UG can also apply. There is no entrance test for UG/Diploma/ Certificate Courses

2 years Master of Library and Information Science (M.LISc),
2 years Master of Commerce (M.Com),
2 years Master of Social Work (MSW)

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed or appearing for the final year examination in qualifying degree during 2016-17 are also eligible to apply

Selection Process

Admissions will be based on DUCET-2016 rank, subject to fulfillment of other eligibility criteria; 10% of the Seats are reserved for Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu

How to Apply

Application for entrance examination for admission into various courses during 2016-17 is to be submitted in the prescribed form. A separate application is required for each course
Candidates are required to pay the prescribed entrance exam fees of Rs.300/- (for General/BC Candidates) and Rs.200/- (for SC/ST/Differently Abled candidates) in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the "Registrar, Dravidian University", Kuppam-517426
Either in person by Demand Draft for Rs.300/- (Rs.200/- for SC/ST/Differently Abled) by Post (DD for Rs.350/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST/Differently Abled) favoring “The Registrar, Dravidian University” payable at Kuppam
For downloaded application, enclose DD for Rs.300/-; the entrance test will be conducted at various centers in South India
The Application form must be filled in English only (using CAPITAL letters)
