- Publication of the list of eligible candidates on the University website: 2nd August 2019
- Date of written admission test (excluding non- NET/SET/ M.Phil candidates): 19th August 2019
- Publication of list of successful candidates: 30th August 2019
- Date of interview (for all candidates including those qualified in NET/SET/ M.Phil): 12th September 2019
- Publication of the final list of successful candidates: 23rd September 2019

Reservation:
- Reservation of seats shall follow the guidelines provided in the West Bengal Higher Educational Institutions (Reservation in Admission) Rules, 2013
Selection Process
- Selection will be made on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance exam
Exam Pattern:
- Test will be both MCQ and subjective based
- MCQ questions: 15 of 2 marks each (Total 30 marks)
- Subjective questions: 1 of 20 marks
- Total Marks: 50
- Qualifying marks for written test: 50% for General Category, 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PH.
