RMLAU PhD Admission 2020 – Applications are invited online for admission to full-time Ph.D. Program in various subjects, run by the residential departments and affiliated colleges of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University (RMLAU) Ayodhya through Common Entrance Test-2020 (CET-2020) for the academic session 2020-21

Duration of Program
  • Minimum duration shall be three years including course-work and a maximum of six years from the date of Admission.

Eligibility Criteria for RMLAU PhD Admission 2020
  • A candidate applying for CET-2020 of Dr. Rammanohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya must hold a postgraduate Degree in concerned/allied subject with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent Letter grade/Grade-point under the seven Point Letter-grade-scales as per UGC norms
  • A relaxation of 5% in minimum marks shall be given to SC/ST/OBC and physically handicapped/disabled candidates
  • Candidates appearing for Final Year/Final Semester of their postgraduate degree examination are also eligible to appear in the admission process subject to the fulfillment of minimum eligibility criteria in the final result at the time of counseling

RMLAU PhD Admission 2020 Application Process
  • Eligible and interested candidates are required to fill an application only through the provided online facility on or before the last date. A copy of the filled in application form must be kept for future use.

Common Entrance Test (CET) 2020
  • The CET-2020 for various Ph.D. programs of Dr. Rammanohar Lohia Avadh University as specified will be conducted at the University Campus but in special circumstances Centers may also be allocated at different institutions in Ayodhya district.
  • Candidates are advised to fill up the Answer-OMR sheet carefully during Examination.
  • The Entrance Test will be based on Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) containing one question paper.
  • The question paper will be of 200 Questions, 100 each from subject knowledge and Research Methodology
  • The paper will be of 3 hours duration
  • There will not be any negative marking
  • The minimum qualifying marks for the test is 50% marks

Selection Procedure
  • The selection will be based on the Common Entrance Test-2020 (CET-2020) and Interview
