BARC Diploma in Radiological Physics Admission 2021 – Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai invited applications for admission to Diploma in Radiological Physics (Dip RP) Courses conducted by Radiological Physics and Advisory Division (RP & AD) for the academic year 2021-22
About the Program
|
- Radiological Physics and Advisory Division (RP&AD) of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) has conducted the Diploma in Radiological Physics (DipRP) Course since 1962. This is a Post-M.Sc. Program and the duration is one year.
|
- Fifty-eight (58) courses have been conducted successfully (academic year 2019-2020).
|
- The 59th DipRP course is scheduled to commence from the first week of August 2021
|

Total allocated seats for admission to the course is 30 (25 non-sponsored candidates + 5 sponsored candidates from Government Institutions).

Eligibility Criteria for BARC Diploma in Radiological Physics Admission 2021
|
- To the Diploma R.P. Course is M.Sc. (Physics) with not less than 60% marks in aggregate through full time program
|
- In addition, the candidates should have B.Sc. Degree (Physics as a main subject) with not less than 60% marks in aggregate.
|
- In case of grade system, grade to percentage of marks conversion scheme obtained from University should be submitted along with the application failing which application will not be considered
|
- The sponsored candidates should have at least one-year working experience in a radiotherapy department of Government Institution in India. A certificate/declaration in this matter should be furnished at the time of Interview.
|
- Those who await the final results of M.Sc. (Physics) may also apply. However, such candidates should necessarily attach copies of the mark sheets of B.Sc. Degree and a copy of M.Sc. first year mark sheet(s) along with the application.

Admission Fee
|
- The candidates should pay an admission fee of 6,000/- (Rupees Six thousand only) at the time of admission. The fee should be paid through ECS to Accounts Officer, HBNI, Mumbai
|
BARC Diploma in Radiological Physics Admission 2021 Application Process
|
- Interested candidates should submit their applications in an appropriate format along with a processing fee of Rs.600/-
|
- With regard to payment of Application Fee, the candidate may download the three fold challan from the BARC website www.barc.gov.in and make the payment in any branch of the State Bank of India
|
- Candidates shortlisted for interview will have to produce original challan at the time of interview
|
- The SC/ST applicants, Dependents of Defense Personnel Killed in Action (DODPKIA), Women candidates and Physically Challenged candidates are exempted from payment of application fee
|
- Applications will be accepted online only
|

Selection Procedure
|
- Selection of non-sponsored candidates is based on Common Entrance Test (CET) followed by an interview
|
- Common Entrance Test (CET): The CET will be held at 11.00 hrs. on 09th May 2021 (Sunday) at Atomic Energy Junior College, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai-400094
|
Interview
|
- Candidates short listed through CET will be interviewed during 10/05/2021 (Monday) to 12/05/2021 (Wednesday) commencing from 10.00 hrs at New Training School Complex, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai-400094
|
- Selection of Sponsored Candidates is through interview only and hence eligible sponsored candidates will be called for the interview directly
