Eligibility Criteria for TNVASU Chennai UG Admission 2020

Candidates who are applying for B.V.Sc & A.H./B.F.Sc/B.Tech (Food Processing Technology)/ B.Tech (Poultry Production Technology) degree courses should have passed HSC (10+2)/CBSE/ other Exams recognized as equivalent thereto with the marks as prescribed below:

For B.V.Sc & A.H. Course

Biology or Zoology and Botany, OC/BC/BCM 60%, MBC/DNC 55%, SC/SCA/ST Pass or; Chemistry and Physics taken together, OC/BC/BCM 60%, MBC/DNC 55%, SC/SCA/ST Pass; and

Aggregate of Biology or Zoology and Botany, Chemistry & Physics should not be less than, OC 75%, BC/BCM 65%, MBC/DNC 60%, SC/SCA/ST Pass

Vocational Stream

Biology; OC/BC/BCM 60%, MBC/DNC 55%, SC/SCA/ST Pass

Vocational Subjects B.V.Sc & A.H.-Poultry/Dairying only, B.F.Sc-Fisheries only (Theory, Practical I and Practical II taken together), OC/BC/BCM 60%, MBC/DNC 55%, SC/SCA/ST Pass

Aggregate of Biology, Vocational Subjects should not be less than, OC 70%, BC/BCM 65%, MBC/DNC 60%, SC/SCA/ST Pass

B.Tech (Food Technology)

Age Limit

Candidates should have attained the age of 17 years as on 31st December 2020

Candidates applying for the undergraduate degree programs should not have completed the age mentioned below as on 01st July 2020:

1. For SC/ST & SCA – No age limit
2. For other candidates – 21 years

TNVASU Chennai UG Admission 2020 Application Process

• Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website www.tanuvas.ac.in

• Candidates should fill, upload necessary documents / certificates and submit applications online on or before 28th September 2020, 6.00 PM at University website.

• Only Online application will be accepted, other formats will summarily be rejected. Candidates need not send the hard copy of the application.
