Admission Notice-2012

Ph.D Admission-2012 (June, 2012)

Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB) has major research programs in Human, Animal and Plant Diseases

Applications are invited from Postgraduates in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical Sciences, Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences for our Ph.D program, currently affiliated to University of Kerala

General category applicants must have first class or above throughout and a valid Research Fellowship from UGC/CSIR/ICMR/ DBT; or Eligibility for DST-INSPIRE and should be less than 28 years of age as on 01st June, 2012

SC/ST candidates with a valid fellowship need to have only 50% marks, will be eligible for age relaxation as per rules, and are exempt from processing fees

Date of Intimation by email 18th April, 2012

Interview, Short-listing, Student-Faculty interaction and selection 07th May, 2012 to 11th May, 2012

Date of Joining 01st June, 2012

 

Internal candidates working in Projects

Last date for receipt of applications with recommendations by the selection committee 01st May, 2012

Selection Decision 15th May, 2012

Date of Joining 01st June, 2012

Completed applications must reach RGCB on or before the above last date which is 16th April, 2012 for all General applicants with Fellowship

Internal candidates may collect the application forms from the Dean’s Office
