The inter-se merit of candidates seeking admission under the NRI category will be based on their score in the entrance test (if they are in India) or SAT-II/GRE/ GMAT (whichever relevant); and other scores as applicable

The foreign candidates shall have to comply with visa and other requirements prescribed by the Govt of India, UT Administration, Chandigarh, and Panjab University, Chandigarh as prescribed by them from time to time

Prospectus: Handbook of Information and Rules for Admission-2013 can be obtained from Sale Counter, Administrative Block (Basement) Panjab University, Chandigarh, on cash payment of Rs 550/- and by Post from the Manager, Publication Bureau, P.U., Chandigarh-160014 against account payee Bank draft of Rs 660/- drawn in favour of the Registrar, Panjab University, payable at Chandigarh

(The Applicants for the 1st year of any course are advice d to purchase a copy of Handbook of Information to acquaint themselves with the Rules and Regulations and other details of the Course)

Candidates desirous of applying for admission to University teaching departments for the session 2013-2014 can download admission form from P.U. Website www.puchd.ac.in free of cost

However, those finally admitted, will be charged Rs. 60/- as cost of admission form along with admission fees

Each Applicant applying for admission in sports category shall along with photocopy of the complete admission form, and original photograph to the Chairperson/Director of the concerned Department/ Centre, PU, Chandigarh-160014

The candidates are required to appear for trial in a proper sports kit along with their original sports certificates on University grounds as per schedule from 08th July, 2013 to 11th July, 2013 (for schedule contact office of the University Director of Physical Education)

Presence of candidate in the field at appointed time is mandatory

No separate intimation will be sent

Self attested photocopies of sports certificates; Class X/XII DMC showing date of birth

The Affidavit of sports achievements duly attested by a Notary/Magistrate Class I/II on a stamp paper of Rs 3/-

The photograph of the player should also be paste d on the certificate duly attested by the competent authority of concerned tournament/ championship

Panjab University shall not take any responsibility for any delay in receipt of application form sent through post, courier or any other means or for loss in transit of the application form

For admission to B.Ed and M.Ed (regular and through University School of Open Learning a separate advertisement will be issued by the University)
