Admission notification 2011-13

NIEPMD invites applications from candidates for admission to the following courses recognized by RCI, govt of India, New Delhi for the academic year 2011-12

B.Ed Special Education (Multiple Disabilities) (1 year)

Number of seats: 20

Application fee: Rs 500/- (Rs 350/- for SC/ST/PH)

Eligibility: A Bachelor degree from an UGC approved university in any of the secondary school subjects in the pattern of 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 with minimum marks of (OC-50%, BC-45%, MBC/DNC-43%, SC/ST-40%); or PG Degree in Economics, Commerce, Home Science, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, Logic and Indian Culture from an UGC approved University with minimum marks of 50%

Diploma in Education-Special Education (Deaf blind) (2 years)

Number of seats: 31

Application fee: Rs 300/- (Rs 200/- for SC/ST/PH)

Eligibility: A pass in 10+2/H.Sc/Intermediate with 50% of marks

Diploma in Education-Special Education (Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorders) (2 years)

Number of seats: 31

Application fee: Rs 300/- (Rs 200/- for SC/ST/PH)

Eligibility: A pass in 10+2/H.Sc/Intermediate

Certificate course in prosthetic and Orthotic (CPO) (1 year)

Number of seats: 31

Application fee: Rs 200/- (Rs 150/- for SC/ST/PH)

Eligibility: Certificate from ITI in any of the trades of Fitter/Carpenter/Leather or a pass in SSLC/X std/Matriculation with 2 years working experience in a recognized P&O centre

Last date of sale and submission of filled in application at NIEPMD: 10th June, 2011

The course will be offered subject to the response from the candidates/filling up half of the intake capacity of each
