BTech Normal (4 yrs) & BTech-Lateral Entry (3 yrs): Aeronautical Engg., Civil Engg., Computer Science and Engg., Electronics and Communication Engg., Information and Technology, Mechanical Engg., Biotechnology, Automobile Engg., Electrical & Electronics Engg

Integrated B Tech 6 year duration (exit option after 3 years with award of Diploma): Civil Engg., Electronics and Mechanical Engg.

MTech Programmes (2 yrs): Computer Engg., Biotechnology; Electronics and Communication Engg. with specialization in Communication system, Electrical Engg. with specialization in power system and Electrical Drives, Mechanical Engg. with specialization in Industrial Engg., Electronics and Communication Engg. with specialization in VLSI Design & Embedded Systems, Civil Engg. with specialization in Structural Engineering.

Note: All BTech Students may opt for 4 weeks Certificate Courses in Global Management Fundamentals at University of Toronto, Missisauge Campus.

BTech- Mechanical Engg. Electrical & Electronics Engg & Communication Engg. may opt for a bridge course in MRIU followed by one semester study in Lahti University Finland for additional degree by Lahti University and open vistas for placement in Finland & Europe.

BTech Civil Engg., Electronics and Communication Engg. students may seek admission in 3rd year BTech at Curtin University Perth Australia after completion of 2nd year at MRIU.

Other student exchange/Internships abroad are also available for engineering students.

Note: Besides Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes as mentioned above, all Faculties shall offer Doctoral Programmes leading to Ph.D. Degree.

Admission procedure

BTech Normal Entry: Admissions will be based on merit in AIEEE 2012, and merit in qualifying examination in the same order for seats remaining vacant;

MTech: Admissions will be based on merit in GATE, and merit in qualifying examination in the same order for seats remaining vacant;

MBA: Admissions will be done on the basis of consolidated merit on 100 point scale with 10% weightage of qualifying examination, 35% weightage of entrance test, 10% weightage of GD, 10% weightage of interview, 5% weightage in Work Experience /Post Graduation, 10% Behaviour Skills, 10% weightage in X and10% weightage in XII;

All other courses: Admissions will be done on the basis of merit in MR-NAT 2012 and merit in qualifying examination for seats remaining vacant.

Application fee: Rs 1200

How to apply: Fill online application form

Cash payment at the specified branch of the Axis Bank (please check the branch details in brochure/website and MRIU counters) All the candidates intending to pay the fee in cash, should pay Rs 1200 before applying online.

After payment of cash, the candidate will be provided with a copy of admission brochure and a scratch card.

The scratch card contains a numeric code. It is mandatory for the candidate to provide this code in the appropriate box of the online form.
