Eligibility

B.Tech programs: A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum average of 60% of marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology

Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics candidates are eligible for all the B.Tech programs

Physics, Chemistry and Biology candidates are eligible only for B.Tech. Biotechnology program

M.Tech programs: A pass in bachelor degree in Engineering/technology in the relevant area of specialization or equivalent

MBA: A pass in any bachelor degree

MCA: A pass in any bachelor degree with mathematics at degree or 10+2 level

M.Sc: A pass in bachelor degree in science in relevant area of specialization

Admission procedure

B.Tech programs: On the basis of performance in the entrance examination of Kalasalingam university to be conducted at all India level in major cities of India on 6th June, 2010 and marks scored in the plus 2 examination. Merit list will be based on marks scored in +2 (200 out of 300) and marks scored in the entrance examination (100 out of 300).

PG Programs: On the basis of performance in the entrance examination of Kalasalingam university to be conducted on 26.06.2010 at KLU campus

Issue of application form: Application form along with information brochure will be available at the University on payment of Rs 600/- drawn in favour of ‘Kalasalingam university’ payable at Rajapalayam to The Director (admission) with a request letter. Application form can also be downloaded from website www.kalasalingam.ac.in and can be submitted along with demand draft for Rs. 600/-

Application forms are also available in selected head post offices and designated Indian bank branches in Tamilnadu and other states on payment of Rs 600/- by cash (list of post offices and Indian bank branches is available in our university’s website)
