Notice for Ph.D admissions 2011

Applications on prescribed form from eligible candidates are invited for admission to Ph.D programme in various faculties, departments and centres of Jamia Millia Islamia.

All relevant information including eligibility criteria for the entance examinations as well as the syllabi for the same and the number of vacant seats in respective disciplines shall be displayed on the university’s website http://jmi.nic.in on June 01, 2011.Candidates are allowed to appear only in one subject at a time which should be their subject in Post graduation or related/allied subject.

The application form for admission may be downloaded from the said website w.e.f June 01, 2011 and the same may be submitted in respective faculties and centres on or before July 08, 2011 along with a crossed demand draft of Rs. 1,000/- from any nationalized bank in favour of the Registrar, Jamia Millia Islamia, payable at New Delhi

Those who have already applied for admission to Ph.D programme, are required to apply afresh.
