IFMR is a leading business school with strengths in Research, Teaching and Consulting

Recognized as a Social Science Institute by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Govt of India, IFMR has been approved as an institution of National Importance by the Ministry of Finance

IFMR has estd Centre for Advanced Financial Studies, Micro Finance, Small Enterprise Finance, and Development Finance to conduct Research and Training

Program Structure: Selected candidates will undergo course work during the first two years of the program and on successful completion will proceed for research dissertation

They will also assist the faculty in research and teaching

Eligibility: Full-time Post Graduate from a recognized Institution or University

CA/ICWA/CS are eligible to apply

Candidates should have obtained first class throughout

The program demands strong quantitative and computing skills

Any recent test scores like GMAT/CAT/CSIR/UGC-JRF etc is preferred

Selection: Short listed candidates will undergo a written test and personal interview at IFMR campus in Chennai on 11th May, 2012

Second class train fare will be reimbursed to the outstation candidates

Financial Support: Merit based monthly stipend between Rs 20,000/- and Rs 50,000/- will be paid to the selected candidates depending on their background, experience and performance
