B.Tech, M.Tech, Ph.D Admission-2012

Invites applications for the academic year 2012-13 for regular full-time degree programs (Affiliated with TNAU)

B.Tech, M.Tech, Ph.D (Food Process Engineering)

Rs 10000/- per month for M.Tech and Rs 12000/- per month for Ph.D students and depending on availability of openings

B.Tech: A pass in higher secondary examination with eligible marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as given in prospectus

Mode of selection is based on aggregate marks as explained in prospectus

M.Tech, Ph.D: M.Tech should have passed 4 years bachelor’s degree and for Ph.D should have passed 4 years bachelor’s and 2 years master’s degree in disciplines like Food Process Engineering, Post Harvest Technology, Agricultural Engineering (specialized in Agricultural Process Engineering for Ph.D), Food Science and Technology with proven knowledge in Mathematics

A candidate who has undergone course credit system with a minimum OGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 or 7.00 out of 10.00 or 70% aggregate alone is eligible to apply for Master’s and Ph.D programs

However, for SC/ST candidates a pass in the qualifying degree is sufficient for all programs

Application Form: The soft copy of application form and prospectus can be downloaded from website www.iicpt.edu.in

Hard copy application forms can be obtained from IICPT office at Thanjavur from 23rd April, 2012 onwards during all working days between 09.30 a.m. to 05.30 p.m. by paying appropriate application fee

Filled in application forms with appropriate application fee (for downloaded applications) should be submitted to the Director, Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology by 06th June, 2012, 05.00 p.m

Entrance examination will be held on 17th June, 2012 in selected cities

Application fee is Rs 500/- for OC/OBC and Rs 250/- for SC/ST candidates

Demand draft should be drawn in favour of Director, IICPT, payable at Thanjavur
