The students seeking admission for the above PG courses at Private affiliated colleges under university quota in affiliated colleges shall submit separate application to the Chairman of the concerned PG department at main campus, Gulbarga University, Gulbarga

However, in case of Music, MFA and MVA courses, filled in applications shall be submitted to the Dean, Faculty of Arts, Gulbarga University, Main campus, Gulbarga (Department of Urdu and Persian Main Campus, Gulbarga University, Gulbarga)

The students seeking admission to the above courses offered at affiliated govt degree colleges shall submit separate applications to the Principal of the concerned govt degree college

The selection and admission to such course, will be done at the respective govt degree colleges

More details can be obtained from the Principal of the concerned govt college

50% of quota of seats of affiliated colleges will be filled by university based on merit-cum-reservation. However, for PG seats of govt colleges, entire sanctioned strength shall be allotted by respective govt colleges

The application forms can be obtained on payment of prescribed fee from the following places; State Bank of Hyderabad, Gulbarga University, Main Campus, Gulbarga; Gulbarga University PG Centre, Jnana Sagar, Vinayak Nagar, Cantonment, Bellary-583104; Gulbarga University PG Centre, Jnana Tunga, Yergera Camp, Raichur-584101; Gulbarga University PG centre, Jnana Karanji, Halahalli Camp, Bidar-585401; Gulbarga University PG centre, Jnana Sarovara, Krishnadevarayanagar Sandur-583119

The candidates desires to obtain the application form through post should send the cost of application form with the additional postage charge of Rs 60/- through DD drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, Gulbarga University, Gulbarga to the Deputy Registrar (Academic Branch), Gulbarga University, Gulbarga-585106

The application form can also be downloaded from the university Website http://www.gulbargauniversity.kar.nic.in. The filled in application along with DD towards the cost of application form, drawn in favour of Finance Officer, Gulbarga University, Gulbarga (towards the cost of application) should be submitted to the concerned Chairperson as indicated above. The details of DD should be entered in the application form

Cost of application form/application fee Rs 350/- (Rs 175/- for SC/ST/Category-I)

Period of Issue and receipt of applications: 16.07.2010 to 30.07.2010

Last date for receipt of filled in applications: 30.07.2010 (Friday)

A student has to submit the duly filled in applications along with all the necessary documents and application fee receipt/DD on or before the last date fixed to the respective authorities only, as indicated in above mentioned paragraphs

Last date for submission of application (as mentioned above paragraphs) either in person or by speed or registered Post is: 30.7.2010 ( Friday)

The admission to the PG course is based on merit cum reservation as per intake fixed by the University

The candidates who desire to apply for more than one courses shall have to submit separate application for each course

The candidates who desire to apply for the same course at main campus and also at PG centres shall have to submit a separate application for each centre

The candidates seeking admission under self supporting scheme shall give the undertaking in the application form. Otherwise they will not be considered for admission under self supporting scheme

Candidates are advised to read the Instructions in the Prospectus before filling the application. Incomplete applications are liable for rejection
