Admission Notification for B. Pharm & BHMCT – 2007
Applications are invited for admission to the 4 – year (8 – semester) Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology and B. Pharmacy programmes at Mesra: For further details please visit website.
Eligibility: Maximum age limit is 21 years on 01.10.2007, (26 years for Sc/ST).
- For BHMCT : Pass in all subjects in Class 10 and Class 12/equivalent Qualifying Examination (QE) in any stream, with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) in both Class 10 and Class 12. Marks in Class 10 to be considered as sum of all subjects in which candidates has appeared, and in Class 12 for best 5 subjects
- For B. Pharm: Pass in all subjects in Class 10 with minimum 60% (50% for SC/ST) Pass in all subjects in Class 12 with Phys, Chem, and Math/Biology/Biotech, and minimum 60% (50% for SC/ST). Further, candidates must have appeared in AIEEE – 2007 or AIPMT MAIN – 2007. General category / OP candidates from AIEEE group must have AIR upto 1,00,000 if appeared for QE from Jharkhand and upto 1,25,000 if appeared for QE from othe states. Marks in Class 10 to be considered as um of all subjects in which candidate has appeared, and in Class 12 for best 5 subjects including English, Phys, Chem, and Math/Biology/Biotech.
Selection Procedure:(1) For BHMCT: Entrance, Test on 24 June 2007 at Allahabad , Jaipur, Kolkata, Mesra, Noida and Patna and subsequent Counselling / Interview at Mesra.
- For B. Pharm: Based on All India Rank in AIEEE 2007 or AIPMT MAIN – 2007 and subsequent Counselling / Interviews at Mesra.
Candidates appearing for Class 12/QE in 2007 can also apply. They must produce marksheet of QE at the time of Conselling, along with other documents.
How to Apply: Information Brochure A of 20047 and from will be available on payment of Rs. 800/- in person, and Rs 900/- by post from our Centres at addresses given below (all payments by crossed DD in favour of Birla Institute of Technology, payable at Ranchi ). Postal requests must include letter & two slips of paper (10x10 cm) with name, address and phone number. Write UG A – 2007 on the envelope.
