IIT Madras MBA Admission 2024 – The Department of Management Studies (DoMS) at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras invites application for admissions to 2-years full time Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program for the commencing academic session 2024.

IIT Madras MBA Admission 2024 Important Dates

  • CAT Result Announcement: December – 2023
  • Online Submission of Application Form begins on: December, 2023
  • Online Submission of Application Form closes on: 31st January, 2024
  • Selection Process: March 2024
  • Declaration of Admission Results: May 2024

 

Eligibility Criteria for IIT Madras MBA Admission 2024

Regular Candidates

  • Valid score in the Common Admissions Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management.
  • Graduates (or professional qualification equivalent to that of a University degree recognized by the UGC) in any discipline with first class or 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD) earned in their degree from a recognized/reputed University.
  • Final year students (of the above mentioned programme) are also eligible to apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted provisionally, on the condition that they meet all requirements for the qualifying degree before the start of the program and will produce a provisional certificate of completion within two months of joining the program. 
  • IIT Graduates who have obtained a CGPA of 8 and above on 10 are exempted from CAT score..

Sponsored Candidates

  • Company Sponsored Candidates
  • Minimum work experience of two years in the sponsoring organization.
  • Valid score in the Common Admissions Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management.
  • Graduates (or professional qualification equivalent to that of a University degree recognized by the UGC) in any discipline with first class or 60% marks (earned in their degree from a recognized/reputed University.

Non-Resident Indian and Foreign Nationals

  • Valid GMAT Score
  • Graduates (or professional qualification equivalent to that of a University degree recognized by the UGC) in any discipline with first class or 60% marks earned in their degree from a recognized/reputed University

 

IIT Madras MBA Admission 2024 Application Process

  • Interested candidates can apply online only through the official website https://doms.iitm.ac.in/admission/
  • Instructions follow for Application Process :
  • This is the application portal to apply for DoMS, IIT Madras Only.
  • Only those who are shortlisted by DoMS, IIT Madras will be invited to appear for the selection process.
  • Copies of necessary certificates need to be uploaded at the time of filing the application form.

 

Application Fee

  • General, OBC & Foreign/NRI : Rs 1600/-
  • SC/ST/PwD Reduced fee: Rs 800/-
  • Mode of Payment : through Internet Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card.
