In India, at the Undergraduate level, B.Arch. or Bachelors of Architecture course is offered to the students for a duration of 5 years.

The Top Architecture Entrance Exams in India are National level entrance examinations that offer admission to the various B.Arch. courses. Some of them are – NATA, JEE Main and IIT JEE-AAT. A Candidate with a minimum score of 50% marks in aggregate and Mathematics as a subject in class 12 examination is eligible to apply for admission to B.Arch. course. JEE Main Paper II

JEE Main is a national level entrance examination conducted by the NTA, twice a year (April and January) for admission to B.Tech/B.E., B.Arch and B.Planning. For B.Arch, JEE Main Paper II is conducted which is of 400 marks. There are a total of 77 questions as follows –

Admission Procedure

Some colleges have a centralized admission process through Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB)/JoSAA based on AIR in JEE Main. For NRI, PIO or SFFS candidates, admission is given on the basis of the marks obtained in class 12 examination or equivalent.

6. Chandigarh College of Architecture, Chandigarh

For admissions, the college follows the ‘Chandigarh Engineering & Architecture Counselling’ conducted by the Joint Admission Committee (JAC).

7. RV School of Architecture, Bangalore

This college was established in the year 1992 as ‘Department of Architecture of R V College of Engineering’.
