Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Criteria for MBA Admission is as follows-
- Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks for the general category and 45% marks for the SC/ST Category candidates from UGC recognized University. OR Three years experience certificate after graduation (in case Graduation marks is less than 50% for the general category candidates and 45% marks for the SC/ST Category candidates)
Eligibility Criteria for MCA Admission is as follows-
- BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination OR B.Sc./B.Com./B.A./B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc. with or without Mathematics at l0+2 Level or at Graduation Level (obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination) with PGDCA diploma from UGC recognised University, ALevel from DOEACC.
Application Process
- Interested candidates can apply for UPRTOU MBA MCA Entrance Test 2023 online through the official website www.uprtou.ac.in .
- Candidates can fill the application form and can get themselves registered by entering Name, Father’s Name, Program name, Address, and Category (General, SC/ ST/ OBC).
- Candidates have to pay the application fee and upload the photograph and signature in their prescribed format.
- Before the Entrance test, candidates have to submit their hard copy of application form along with the documents required.

- Mode of Payment – Through Online Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or E-challan
Exam Pattern
- Duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes
- Total marks: 100 Marks
- Sections: Part A (General knowledge/current affairs, general awareness, management, economics and IT etc.)
- Part B (On the topics of general interests and basic discipline, to be answered in not more than 300 words)
Distribution Table of Question and Marks
- Part A – 10 Short Type Answers: General Knowledge/ current affairs, General Awareness, Management, and Economics & IT: 5: 50 marks
- Part B- 2 Essays: General Interests and Basic Discipline: 2: 50 marks
Admission Procedure after Qualifying Entrance Test
The candidates after qualifying the MBA-MCA Entrance Test, (Clearance means securing 40% marks in Entrance Test) will have to:
- Fill the general online admission form available at university website and deposit the Annual Fee of Rs.18000/- for MBA and Rs.17000/- for MCA program through online banking or Bank challan.
- Take the print out of the filled admission form along with the proof of annual fee of the program.
- Candidates have to submit one set of downloaded hardcopy of the admission form, MBA-MCA Entrance Test Result along with all the required documents.
Note: The candidates who have appeared in the entrance tests for the similar programs MBA and MCA program conducted by IGNOU/ AIMA / IIMs / UPTU/ NIMCET/UPCET/ State Level exam etc. within a year need not to appear in MBA MCA Entrance Test of UPRTOU Prayagraj, provided they have secured 40% marks in such examination. However they have to fill and submit the respective MBA-MCA Entrance Test form.
