Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan announces Entrance Test for admission to B.Ed, M.Ed and M.Phil Program 2020

Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan has decided to conduct Shiksha-Shastri Entrance Test (SSET) for B.Ed, Shiksha-Acharya Entrance Test (SAET) for M.Ed and Vidyavaridhi Entrance Test (VVET) for M.Phil Admission 2020. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to B.Ed, M.Ed and M.Phil Program of Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha for Academic session 2020 through Entrance Test

Start date of Online Registration/submission of Application15th January 2020
Last date of Online Registration/submission of Application06th March 2020 (By 12:00 midnight)
Last date for remitting fee through online mode06th March 2020 (by 12:00 midnight)
Last date for making modification/corrections in particulars of Application Form already submitted if required07th to 13th March 2020
Date of issue of admit cards (candidates can download admit cards from Sansthan website using ID/Password)03rd April 2020 Onwards

Eligibility Criteria for Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan SSET 2020

The eligibility criteria are as follows:

Educational Qualifications

B.Ed.

A pass in Shastri/BA (Sanskrit) or equivalent in 10+2+3 pattern with minimum 50% marks (or)
A pass in two year Shastri/BA (Sanskrit)/equivalent with 50% marks and a pass in one year Bridge course/ Setu or one year of Acharya/MA (Sanskrit)/equivalent (Or)
Those who are appearing for qualifying examination can also apply
Minimum age is 20 years as on 01st October 2020

 

M.Ed.

A pass in Acharya/MA (Sanskrit)/equivalent with Shiksha Shastri/B.Ed (with Sanskrit Methodology) along with minimum 55% aggregate marks in both (at least 50% marks in both theory and Practical required separately in Shiksha Shastri/B.Ed)
Those who are appearing for qualifying examination can also apply
Minimum age is 23 years as on 01st October 2020
Relaxation of 5% marks to SC/ST/Otherwise able candidates. Reservation policy of Govt. of India will be followed

 

Admission Procedure

i.Eligible candidates will be called for written examination, after scrutiny of received application
ii.Entrance exam will be held on 26th April 2020 candidates who got qualified in the written test, will be shortlisted for counseling process.

 

SSET 2020 Exam Pattern

The Shiksha Shastri (B.Ed) Entrance Test will be divided into two parts – Part A and Part B.

i.The eligible candidates can fill the application form from the official website of this University, i.e, www.rsvpcet.in.
ii.The candidates need to pay a prescribed amount of application fee while submitting the application form.
iii.The link to apply for SSET 2020 is also made available on this page. All the candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the examination.
