GPAT 2019: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification for Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2019 on its website: https://ntagpat.nic.in.  The Application process for the same has also begun from today i.e. November 1, 2018. Earlier All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) was conducting Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) but from 2019, the test will be organised by the NTA (National Test Agency).

Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is a national level entrance exam conducted every year as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India. This test facilitates institutions to select suitable Pharmacy Graduates for admission into the Master’s (M.Pharm) Program.

GPAT 2019 Application Process

Candidates can apply for GPAT 2019 through “Online mode ” ONLY by accessing the website www.ntagpat.nic.in.The Application Form other than online mode would not be accepted, in any case. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate.

Candidates can submit the GPAT 2019 online application form from November 1 till 11.50 pm on November 30, 2018. Candidates can upload scanned images of photograph and signature upto 11.50 pm on December 1. Final transaction of fee through Credit/Debit Card/ Net Banking can also be done upto 11.50 pm on December 1. The Admit card will be available for download from January 7, 2019.

GPAT 2019 Exam will be held on January 28, 2019 and the result of the same will be released on NTA’s website by February 8, 2019.

  • General/ Non-creamy layer OBC (Male) – Rs 1400/-
  • SC/ST/PwD (Male) – Rs 700/-
  • Female Candidates (All Categories) – Rs. 700/-
  • Transgender Rs 700/-

 

GPAT 2019 Exam Pattern

The GPAT is a three hour computer based online test which is conducted in a single session. The test will consist of 125 objective type questions. There are 4 marks for a correct answer. There shall be negative marking for wrong answers, for each wrong answer 1 mark shall be deducted.

The GPAT score are valid for three years. The GPAT score is accepted by all AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges. A few scholarships and other financial assistance in the field of Pharmacy are also given on the basis of the GPAT score
