CSIR NET Application Form 2021 – Online Registration starts on June 2021

 

CSIR NET Form 2021  has to be filled online only. Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi invited application for CSIR NET 2021 to grant the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) NET and appointment for Lecturer (NET). CSIR NET 2021 application form submission  will start from June 2021. The CSIR UGC NET is a lectureship/fellowship which is offered by both CSIR and UGC to the eligible and selected candidates through written exams, held twice a year. The JRF and NET is given to students to pursue their doctoral studies in subjects such as Life Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Chemical Sciences and Physical Sciences.

CSIR NET Application Form 2021 – How to apply online?

Candidates are required to apply online by visiting the website www.csirhrdg.res.in. The filling up of the CSIR NET 2021 Application Form will begin from June 2021. The process for applying and filling CSIR NET form is exclusively  through online only. Brief instructions for filling up the CSIR NET online Application Form is available on the official website.

  • CSIR UGC NET 2021 Exam is scheduled June 2021.

CSIR NET 2020 Application Fee

In the application form, candidates are required to fill in their name, parent’s name, date of birth, relevant certificates and marks obtained and other such details. The CSIR Online Application Fee is as follows:

  • For General – Rs.1000/-
  • For Other Backward Classes (OBC) – Non-Creamy Layer – Rs.500/-
  • For SC/ST/Physically Handicapped (PH) or Visually Handicapped (VH) – Rs.250/

Mode of payment

  • Candidates applying for the Exam are required to use payment gateway facility to deposit their Exam Fee only through Credit Card or Debit Card or Net Banking after verifying their eligibility. Candidates are not required to pay any transaction charges for using payment gateway facility
  • Candidates may also deposit their fees through RTGS or NEFT by giving particulars of the Indian Bank, as notified in the fee deposit challan

Eligibility criteria for CSIR NET 2021

  • Nationality: Candidates must be an Indian National
  • Education Qualification: Candidates should have M.Sc. or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years/BE/BTech/BPharma/MBBS with at least 55% marks for General (UR) and OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST, Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates.
  • Candidates enrolled for M.Sc. or having completed 10+2+3 years of the above qualifying examination as on the closing date of online submission of application form, are also eligible to apply in the above subject under the Result Awaited (RA) category on the condition that they complete the qualifying degree with requisite percentage of marks within the validity period of two years to avail the fellowship from the effective date of award.
  • Such candidates will have to submit the attestation form duly certified by the Head of the Department/Institute from where the candidate is appearing or has appeared.
  • B.Sc. (Hons) or equivalent degree holders or students enrolled in Integrated MS-PhD program with at least 55% marks for General (UR) and OBC candidates; 50% marks for SC/ST, Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates are also eligible to apply. Candidates with bachelor’s degree will be eligible for CSIR fellowship only after getting registered/ enrolled for PhD/Integrated PhD program within the validity period of two years.
  • Candidates possessing only Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply only for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and not for Lectureship (LS).
  • The eligibility for lectureship of NET qualified candidates will be subject to fulfilling the criteria laid down by UGC. PhD degree holders who have passed Master’s degree prior to 19th September, 1991 with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for Lectureship only
  • Age Limit:  For JRF (NET): Maximum 28 years as on 01.01.2021{upper age limit may be relax able up to 5 years in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disability(PwD)/ female applicants and 03 years in case of OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) applicants} For Lectureship: There is no upper age limit for candidates applying for lectureship.
