As per the latest announcement by Consortium, the CLAT UG Exam Pattern shall comprise 120 questions instead of 150 questions.


  1. The 120 questions will continue to be divided into five sections, namely
  •  English Language
  • Current Affairs including General Knowledge
  • Legal Reasoning
  • Logical Reasoning
  • Quantitative Techniques
  1. Each question carries one mark, with a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Therefore, students must avoid guesswork and only answer the questions they are confident about.
  2. The CLAT Question Paper will have passages followed by a series of questions except for the quantitative section.The difficulty level of the Common Law Admission Test for UG programs will be class 12th.
  1. The total time duration of the exam is 2 hours, i.e., 120 minutes for CLAT UG 2024.
