Eligibility Criteria

PG Courses

  • Master’s in Medical Laboratory Science (MMLS): Candidates with Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) with minimum 50% aggregate.
  • Master of Optometry (MOptom): Candidates with Bachelor of Optometry (BOptom) with minimum 50% aggregate.
  • M.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology (MOTT): Candidates with B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology (BOTT) / B.Sc. Anaesthesia with minimum 50% aggregate.
  • M.Sc. in Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology (MMRIT): Candidates with B.Sc. in Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology / B.Sc. in Medical Technology Radio Diagnosis & Imaging / B.Sc. Radiology Technology / B.Sc. in Radiography / B.Sc. Medical Technology (X-ray) with minimum 50% aggregate.
  • Master of Physiotherapy (MPT): Candidates with Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) with 6 months compulsory internship with minimum 50% aggregate.
  • Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT): Candidates with Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT) with 6 months compulsory internship with minimum 50% aggregate

 

UG Courses

  • Candidates with Science who have passed qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) taken together and passed in English individually from any recognized board.
  • In respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC the marks obtained in 3 core subjects shall be 40% instead of 45% for Unreserved (UR) Category candidates.

Age 

  • Minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December 2023. No upper age limit.

 

Application Procedure

  • Candidates must read the instructions for filling the online application form carefully before filling the form.
  • Application shall be submitted through the online mode only via website www.abvmuup.edu.in
  • No application form shall be received by post or by any other mode.
  • Candidates must give all correct information. The admission to Paramedical Masters Courses (2 Years) will be done on the basis of Entrance Examination, if any information is found incorrect then the candidature /admission will be cancelled.
  • It is hereby informed that if any applicant has provided false information solely for the purpose of appearing in the examination for practice or other purpose, the applicant will be debarred from Entrance Examination in future.
  • Candidates must ensure that the Email address and mobile number provided in the online application form are their own and /or parents/guardians only as all information/communication will be sent through Email on the registered email address or SMS/EMAIL on the registered Mobile Number only.
  • Registered login credentials (Email/Mobile) and Registration Id will be used for all communications and will be required for obtaining the Admit card, Result, Counseling details, Allotment Letter, etc.
  • Candidates should register from personal email id and Mobile number only and Registration No. should not be shared with any other person for the security purpose.
  • Candidates should note their Registration Id & Date of Birth.
  • University disclaims any liability that may arise to a candidate(s) due to incorrect information provided by him/her in his/her online Application Form.

Candidate Registration

  • Candidates should visit the official website of the ABVMU University – www.abvmuup.edu.in and Click on the Link for Common Paramedical Entrance Test (CPET) 2023-24.
  • Candidates should first register by clicking the “Register > Login > Pay > Fill Form” button for Paramedical Masters.
  • During the registration process the candidates will have to submit the following information

 

Examination Fee

  • Candidates for the entrance test will have to pay a fee of Rs. 3000/- for Unreserved/Other Backward Classes (UR/OBC) and Rs. 2000/- for SC/ST/PwD.
  • Examination Fee shall be submitted online after successful online registration of candidate.
  • Once the fee has been submitted there shall be no refund of fee.
  • Fee is non-transferable for any other examination.

 

Admission Process

  • The selection and allotment of college shall be done by merit list made on the basis of Common Paramedical Entrance Test (CPET)-2023 and counseling
  • The candidate, who has qualified for the admission to the Undergraduate and Masters Paramedical Courses, shall deposit the prescribed fee on the date notified for that purpose by the University. Those who fail to do so will lose their claim for admission to the course.
  • Candidates shall join the course within the specified period

 

Entrance Exam

PG Courses

  • Date: 18-06-2023 (Sunday)
  • Time: 11.00 AM to 2.00 PM (180 Minutes)
  • Venue: As mentioned on the admit card.
  • Mode of Exam: MCQs – Objective/Multiple Choice response Questions to be answered on Optical Mark Reader Sheet (OMR sheet) using black ball point pen provided at the Center.
  • Number of Questions: 200
  • Marks: Every single correct response will get 01 mark each. No Negative Markings for incorrect response and/or more than one response.
  • Medium of Examination: English
  • Syllabus: Subjects for the written test will be as per the applicable Paramedical Bachelor course.
  • There will be 200 Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Number of Questions: 200 (Question paper will be in three sections. Section A, B and C of 100, 50 and 50 marks each respectively).

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

  • The minimum qualifying criteria of entrance test to admission to Paramedical Masters Courses is as under:
  • General – 50th percentile
  • General- PwD – 45th percentile
  • SC/ST/OBC- 40th percentile

Admit Cards

  • Admit Cards will be available online & can be downloaded through the ABVMU website – www.abvmuup.edu.in through individual logins by the candidate using their Registered Id Number & Date of Birth.
  • The candidate has to appear for the Examination at the allotted Centre on the Date and timing as indicated in their Admit Card. No. candidate will be allowed to appear at the Examination Centre, on the Date and Timing other than that allotted to him/her in his / her Admit Card.
