Telangana State Department of School Education announces Teacher Eligibility Test (TS-TET) 2024, Apply now

 

TS TET 2024 Notification – Online applications are invited from eligible candidates who intend to be Teachers for Classes I to VIII in Schools in Telangana State for appearing for the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TS-TET-2024) to be conducted ONLINE as Computer Based Test (CBT) by Department of School Education, Government of Telangana State between 20th May to 03rd June 2024 

The Telangana State Teachers Eligibility Test (TS TET 2024) exam will be conducted on 20th May to 03rd June 2024.

TS TET 2024 Important Dates

  • Date of Notification: 14th March 2024
  • Online Payment of Exam Fee: 27th March to 10th April 2024
  • Download of TS-TET-2024 Information Bulletin: 22nd March 2024 onwards
  • Online Submission of Application: 27th March to 10th April 2024
  • Help Desk Services on all Working Days: 20th March to 03rd June 2024
  • Downloading of Hall Tickets: 15th May 2024 onwards
  • Date of Examination: 20th May to 03rd June 2024
  • Session-I: 09.00 AM to 11.30 AM (duration 2 hours)
  • Session- II: 02.00 PM to 04.30 PM (duration 2 hours)
  • Declaration of Results: 12th June 2024

 

TS TET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates at the time of applying for TS-TET should be in possession of the following minimum qualifications prescribed for category of I to V classes (Paper- I) and VI to VIII classes (Paper – II) separately

Minimum Qualifications

For Paper-I (Classes I to V)

  • Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks. However in case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. AND pass in 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2 – year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR
  • Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks. In respect of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 40%. AND pass in 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2 – year Diploma in Education (Special Education) in case of the candidates who have passed or admitted to D.El.Ed / D.Ed., course prior to issue of these guidelines

For Paper – II (Classes VI TO VIII)

  • B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with at least 50% marks. In case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education) OR
  • B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with at least 50% marks. In respect of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be40%. AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education) in case of the candidates who have passed or admitted to B.Ed., course prior to issue of these guidelines OR
  • 4-year B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed., with at least 50% marks, in case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%.

 

TS TET 2024 Application Process

  • Candidates should first download the ‘Information Bulletin’, free of cost from the TS-TET website https://tstet.cgg.gov.in and verify his/her eligibility for TS-TET-2024.
  • Detailed procedure for applying ONLINE is given in the Information Bulletin
  • Candidates can download the ‘Information Bulletin’ free of cost from the website https://schooledu.telangana.gov.in from 22.03.2024 onwards. Candidates can submit their applications online from 27.03.2024 to 10.04.2024 at https://schooledu.telangana.gov.in.

 

Exam Fee

  • The exam fee prescribed for appearing for a Single Paper (i.e. only Paper I or only Paper II) is Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only). Candidates intending to appear for both Paper I and II shall pay a fee of Rs.2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only).
  • Candidates can pay the exam fee through Online payment option provided at the website https://schooledu.telangana.gov.in between 27.03.2024 to 10.04.2024

  • The structure and content of each part of Paper-I and Paper-II of the TSTET and the breakup of the total 150 marks among various parts of the paper are given in the Information Bulletin

TS TET 2024 Syllabus 

 

Exam Centers

  • TS-TET-2024 shall be conducted ONLINE as Computer Based Test between 20.05.2024 and 03.06.2024 in the 11 districts of the state. Candidates can submit the order of preference of the examination centers (district). However, Convenor, TSTET-2024 has the discretion to allot candidates to the examination districts depending on the capacity of any particular district

  • Candidates can download their Hall Tickets from the website at https://tstet.cgg.gov.in from 15th May 2024
