TS PECET 2024 – Satavahana University, Karimnagar invites online applications for Telangana State Physical Education Common Entrance Test (TS PECET) 2024 for Admission to B.P.Ed.(2 Years) and D.P.Ed. (2 Years) courses offered by the Universities and affiliated colleges in Telangana State for the academic session 2024

TS PECET 2024 Important Dates

  • Issue of Notification: 12th March 2024
  • Commencement of Submission of Online Application Form: 14th March 2024
  • Last Date for Online Registration without Late Fee: 15th May 2024
  • Last Date for Submission of Online Application with Late Fee of Different Slabs: 31st May 2024
  • Date of Exam: 10th June to 31st June 2024
  • Announcement of Results: One week after the test

 

TS PECET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

For B.P.Ed

  • Candidates should have appeared or passed a three year degree examination recognized by any University in Telangana State or any other University recognized as equivalent thereto and should have completed 19 years of age on 01st July 2024

For UG D.P.Ed

  • Candidates should have appeared or passed Intermediate or equivalent course recognized by the Govt. of Telangana State and should have completed 16 years of age on 01st July 2024

 

TS PECET 2024 Application Process

  • Eligible candidates, who wish to apply for TS PECET-2024, may submit their applications through online mode only on official website https://pecet.tsche.ac.in
  • Candidate should pay the Application fee through T.S online Centers or pay directly through Gateway provided in the website i.e. http://pgecet.tsche.ac.in

Important Instructions 

  • Candidates who wish to apply for TS PECET-2024 are requested to fill the particulars carefully in online application.
  • The required information should be collected from the relevant documents.
  • Candidates are requested to check the filled in particulars before pressing the submit button during online application. If a candidate wishes to change, he/she can change selecting the edit button.
  • After verifying and satisfying, submit the online application.
  • After submission of an online application, if any corrections are to be incorporated, the candidate can login to the website with his details and modify the information.

 

Application Fee

  • For General & Others Candidates – Rs.900/-
  • For SC / ST Candidates – Rs.400/-

 

TS PECET 2024 Exam Pattern

For B.P.Ed. (Two years) and D.P.Ed. (2 Years), Courses

  • The Common Entrance Test for entry of students into B.P.Ed. (Two Years) and D.P.Ed. (Two Years) Courses Comprise of two parts, namely-
  1. Physical Efficiency Test
  2. Skill Test in Game

Physical Efficiency Tests

  • Physical Efficiency Tests –  Maximum 400 marks
  • For each of the events, marks shall be awarded, by using the conversion tables approved by the T.S.PECET Committee.
  • For Men Candidates – Compulsory Events (No Option)
  • 100 meters run – 100 Marks
  • Putting the shot (7.26 Kgs.) – 100 Marks
  • 800 meters run – 100 Marks
  • Long Jump / High Jump – 100 Marks
  • For Women Candidates – Compulsory Events (No Option)
  • 100 meters run – 100 Marks
  • Putting the shot (4 Kgs.) – 100 Marks
  • 400 meters run – 100 Marks
  • Long Jump / High Jump – 100 Marks

Note

  • Candidate has to choose either High Jump or Long Jump. Candidate has to mention options in the application.

Skill Test in Game

  • Skill Test in Game – Maximum 100 marks
  • The skills of the candidate shall be tested in any one of the following games opted by the candidate:
  • Ball Badminton
  • Basketball
  • Kabaddi
  • Cricket
  • Shuttle Badminton
  • Kho-Kho
  • Football
  • Lawn Tennis
  • Handball
  • Volleyball
  • Hockey

 

TS PECET 2024 Hall Ticket

  • The candidates will be able to download the hall ticket from the online mode only at pecet.tsche.ac.in.
  • Candidates need to take this on the day of entrance test
  • The TS PECET 2024 admit card can be downloaded through the login by entering the login credentials as registration number, date of birth and qualifying exam hall ticket number.
