Kakatiya University, Warangal notifices Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS ICET) 2024 for MBA and MCA Admission, Apply now

 

TS ICET 2024 – Kakatiya University, Warangal will be conducting Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS ICET) 2024 on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad for admission into Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program for the Academic Year 2024-25 offered by the University Colleges/ Constituent Colleges/ Affiliated Colleges under the jurisdiction of the following Universities in the State of Telangana.

  1. Osmania University (OU), Hyderabad.
  2. Kakatiya University (KU), Warangal.
  3. Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU), Nalgonda.
  4. Palamuru University (PU), Mahabubnagar.
  5. Satavahana University (SU), Karimnagar.
  6. Telangana University (TU), Nizamabad.
  7. Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University (Dr. BRAOU), Hyderabad
  8. Prof. Jayashankar Agricultural University (PJAU), Hyderabad
  9. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTU-H)

Important Dates

    • Commencement of Registration & Submission of online application form 7th March, 2024 (Thursday)
    • Last date for Registration & Submission of online application form without late fee 30th April, 2024 Extended up to 7th May, 2024 (Tuesday)
    • Last date for Registration & Submission of online application form with a late fee of Rs 250/- 17th May, 2024 (Friday)
    • Last date for Registration & Submission of online application form with a late fee of Rs 500/- 27th May, 2024 (Monday)
  • Online Examination TSICET – 2024 Date and Time
    • Session – I 4th June, 2024 (Tuesday) (FN) 10.00 A.M. to 12.30 P.M
    • Session – II 4th June, 2024 (Tuesday)  (AN) 2.30 P.M. to 5.00 P.M
    • Session – III 5th June, 2024 (Wednesday) (FN) 10.00 A.M. to 12.30 P.M

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate should be an Indian National and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as per G.O. Ms No. 25, dated: 19.3.2004; G.O.Ms.No.108 dated 30-7-2005; G. O. Ms. No.66, dated 15-7-2011; G.O.Ms. No.5, dated 2-8-2014; G.O.Ms. No.7, dated 5-8-2014; G.O.Ms. No.33 dated 31-12-2014 and
  • G.O. Ms. No. 22, dated 27.07.2019 of Higher Education Department of Telangana State and its amendments from time to time. 
  • The candidates other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned under vogue.
  • Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed Degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. (The candidates are advised to read the Eligibility criteria for admission into MBA and MCA programs as shown in the Para d).
  • The Eligibility Criteria for admission into MBA and MCA programmes: –
    • i. Master of Business Administration (MBA): The candidate should have passed a Bachelor Degree of minimum 3 years duration (B.A/ B.Com/ B.Sc/ BBA/ BBM/ BCA/BE / B. Tech/ B. Pharmacy/ any 3 or 4 year Degree except Oriental Languages).
    • ii. Master of Computer Applications (MCA): The candidate should have passed BCA/B.Sc/ B.Com/B.A with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduation level.
    • iii. The qualifying Degree obtained under Distance Mode Program/ Open Distance Learning (ODL) should have recognition by Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB as per UGC Regulations.
    • iv. The candidate must secure a minimum of 50 per cent marks in case of unreserved categories (45 per cent marks for reserved categories i.e., SC/ST/BC) in the qualifying Degree or its equivalent examination. 

 

Application Process

  • TSICET-2024 Applications should be submitted through online mode only.
  • Eligible candidates can apply online only through official website https://icet.tsche.ac.in/
  • The Registration fee for online submission and late fee, if applicable, may be paid at TS/AP and also through payment gateway (Credit Card/Debit Card/ Net Banking).

 

Application Fee

  • For Other Candidates – Rs. 750/-
  • For SC/ST and Differently Abled Candidates – Rs. 550/-

 

TS ICET 2024 Exam Pattern

  • Mode of Exam: Online Mode Computer Based Test (CBT)
  • Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type
  • Exam Duration: 150 minutes
  • Number of Questions: 200 questions
  • Number of Marks: 200 Marks

Medium of Test:

  • For Section A – Analytical Ability – 75 Questions (75 Marks): Question paper is in English & Telugu and English & Urdu
  • For Section B – Mathematical Ability – 75 Questions (75 Marks) : Question paper is in English & Telugu and English & Urdu
  • For Section C – Communication Ability – 50 Questions (50 Marks): Question paper is in English only.

Qualifying Marks for TS ICET-2024:

  • The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 25 percent (i.e. 50 marks out of a total of 200 marks). However, NO minimum qualifying percentage of marks is prescribed for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
