TS DEECET 2023 – Applications are invited for Telangana State Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test popularly known as TS DEECET 2023 for admission to 2-year D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education) and D.P.S.E. (Diploma in Pre-School Education) Course in Govt. DIETs / Private unaided Elementary Teacher Education Institutions (including Minority and Non-Minority) in the State of Telangana for the Batch 2023-25

  • Issue of DEECET 2023 Notification: 21.04.2023
  • Receipt of Online applications: 22.04.2023 to 22.05.2023
  • Issue of Hall tickets from 27.05.2023
  • Date of DEECET 2023 Exam: 01.06.2023
  • Announcement of Results: 08.06.2023
  • Verification of Certificates and Web.: 12/15.06.2023 to 05.07.2023
  • First day of Instruction :12.07.2023

Eligibility Criteria

  • The anticipated eligibility criteria for TS DEECET 2023 is given below.
  • Nationality and Domicile: Applicant must be an Indian National and candidates should satisfy the local/ non-local status requirement as laid down in the Telangana Government

Educational Qualifications

  • Qualifying degree requirement- should have passed or appeared/appearing for the Intermediate exam or its equivalent are eligible for the entrance test.
  • Minimum Marks Requirement- at least 50% marks (45% marks for in case SC / ST / PH Category candidates) in aggregate in the qualifying examination.

Age Limit

  • Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 01st September of admission. There shall be no upper age limit for admission into D.El.d /D.P.S.E. Program.
  • Note: Candidates who passed Intermediate Examination with vocational courses are not eligible.

Application Process

  • Eligible candidates can apply online through official website http://www.deecet.cdse.telangana.gov.in/
  • Candidates shall first download the ‘Information Bulletin’ free of cost from the TSDEECET website deecet.cdse.telangana.gov.in, go through it carefully and satisfy their eligibility for appearing for TSDEECET 2023

Application Fee

  • Application Fee – Rs.500/-
  • Mode of Payment – Online payment gateway by using Debit Card/Credit Card/ Internet Banking

Selection Procedure

  • Selection will be based on marks scored in the Entrance exam

Exam Pattern

  • Mode of Exam: Online mode (computer based test)
  • Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
  • Types of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
  • No. of Questions: 100 questions
  • Total Marks: 100 Marks
  • Marking Scheme: There is no negative marking for wrong answers
