NMAT 2024 Registration

The NMAT 2024 Registration is expected to start in August 2024 and end in October 2024. To register for the NMAT 2024 by GMAC exam and schedule your test, follow these steps:


Step 1- Registration

  • Fill in your details under ‘Manage NMAT Profile.’

  • Check your email for a verification message and complete the verification process. Make sure to check your spam folder if necessary.

  • Access the Candidate Dashboard by clicking on the “NMAT by GMAC™ Dashboard” button.
  • Complete the application on the Candidate Dashboard, ensuring your name and date of birth match your Photo ID.
  • Select up to 5 programs where you want to send your scores in the School Preferences section. Additional score reports can be sent for an extra fee.
  • Upload a photograph that resembles the one on your Photo ID, which will be included on your admit card.
  • Submit the exam fee payment.


Step 2- Scheduling the Exam:

  • After registration and payment, schedule your exam from your Candidate Dashboard, at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Choose your preferred exam mode: test center or online proctored at home. Note that the exam mode cannot be changed for a scheduled appointment, but it can be changed when scheduling a retake.


Step 3- Scheduling at a Test Center (applicable for India only):

  • Click “Book Exam” to access the scheduling system.
  • Choose your country, city, test center, date, and time for the exam.


Step 3.1- Scheduling Online Proctored Test at Home (applicable for India and worldwide):

  • Click “Book Exam” to access the scheduling system.
  • First, fill out the “My Profile” section before proceeding to schedule your exam appointment.


Step 4- Exam Identification:

  • Users must upload a photo ID for verification purposes. Detailed instructions are provided.


Step 5- Exam Appointment:

  • Select the date and correct time zone to schedule the exam. The “Begin Test” button will activate at your chosen time.


NMAT Retake Registration 2024

For Retakes certain different steps are to be followed as mentioned below:-


  • You can take the NMAT 2024 exam up to three times during the testing year, including the first attempt and a maximum of two retakes.
  • Retake registration becomes available on your dashboard after your initial exam. You can register for the retake, select the exam mode, and pay the retake fee.
  • Please note that retakes can only be scheduled with a 15-day gap from the previous attempt.
  • If you were a “NO SHOW,” didn’t agree to the non-disclosure agreement (NDA), or your exam was marked as “Incomplete,” you can schedule a retake immediately for a slot after 24 hours.

NMAT 2024 Registration- Documents Required 

The following documents are essential when filling out the NMAT 2024 Application form:-


  • 10 Marksheet & Passing Certificate
  • 12 Marksheet & Passing Certificate
  • Degree Marksheet (for 1,2,3,4 ……… years), separately for each semester/ trimester. Only if separate mark sheets are not issued by the University / Institute consolidated mark sheets will be accepted.

  • Work Experience Certificate from their previous employers, the latest salary slip from their current employer, and the bank statement showing the deposit of their salary. Suppose the candidate has work experience in self employment or a family business where they do not receive compensation. In that case, they must submit the company’s registration paper, WAT registration, and proof of income tax filing.

What is NMAT Rescheduling Window?

The NMAT Rescheduling Window refers to the option provided to NMAT 2024 candidates to change their originally scheduled exam date, time, or testing location. NMAT offers this flexibility to accommodate unforeseen circumstances, such as personal emergencies or scheduling conflicts, ensuring that candidates can take the exam at a time that suits them better. 

NMAT exam candidates have the flexibility to reschedule their test 72 hours after their originally scheduled exam date and time. To reschedule NMAT 2024, follow these steps:

  • Log in to your NMAT 2024 registration account using the login credentials you’ve already generated.
  • Click on the “Schedule NMAT Exam” button.
  • Choose your preferred date, testing venue, and exam time.
  • Complete the rescheduling process by making the required payment using the available online payment methods.
  • Click the “process” button to confirm your rescheduled exam appointment.


NMAT Registration for Test Takers with Disabilities

Candidates with disabilities are eligible for accommodation and scribe services when appearing for the NMAT 2024 exam. To access these services, candidates should submit a scanned copy of their disability certificate during the NMAT 2024 registration process. The NMAT 2024 helpdesk will then assess the applications to determine eligibility for the following accommodations:

  • Extra time beyond the standard 120 minutes for taking the NMAT exam.
  • Scribe or reader services on the exam day.
  • Larger fonts in the exam testing system.
  • Mobility assistance for disabled candidates, including wheelchair facilities and support staff.

After verifying the registration status, the e-payment window will be activated for the payment of NMAT 2024 registration fees.   • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medical Technology & Biotechnology, and MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, Food Nutrition and Dietetics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology, Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemicals Technology, Microbiology, Biochemistry , Bioengineering , B.Tech. Bio-Tech. / Bio-Medical or B.E. Bio-Tech. / BioMedical from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate. 
  • Candidates working in Pharmaceutical Companies or with work experience in the healthcare sector can also apply subject to meeting the above qualification criteria


In addition to the above mentioned NMAT 2024 Eligibility criteria, there are certain clauses and key requirements that also need to be fulfilled so as to be eligible for the NMAT 2024 exam:-


  • Eligibility for Full-Time Programs: Candidates appearing for their Bachelor’s Degree final examination are eligible to apply for all full-time programs. However, provisional admission is contingent upon successfully clearing the final examination with the stipulated aggregate marks. Selected candidates must submit all necessary original documents within the specified time.
  • Preference for Work Experience: Candidates with two or more years of post-qualification work experience are preferred for all Full-Time programs.
  • Examination Completion: Candidates must have completed all subject exams before the commencement of the respective NMIMS programs. None of the subjects should have exams scheduled after the program starts. Candidates should pass all subjects with the minimum stipulated marks in the aggregate. However, if the candidate’s graduating University schedules final year/semester/trimester exams during or after the program’s commencement, the candidate’s eligibility may be considered at NMIMS’s discretion.
  • Mark Sheet Requirements: At the time of admission, candidates must provide semester-wise/trimester-wise/consolidated mark sheets for all college years from which they graduated. Attestation by the Principal with an official seal or self-attestation is mandatory when using internet copies of mark sheets.
  • GPA/CGPA Conversion: Candidates who have graduated from a university with a Grade Point Average (GPA) system must provide the equivalent percentage of their GPA/CGPA, obtained in writing from the university.
  • Verification and Disqualification: Candidates are responsible for verifying their eligibility for admission at NMIMS. Document verification occurs at the time of final admission. Credentials, including work experience, will be verified by a professional verification agency. NMIMS reserves the right to disqualify a candidate at any stage of the admission process if they are found ineligible. In such cases, even if selected and fees are paid, the admission is canceled, and fees are refunded according to prescribed refund rules.
