NBEMS announces National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test – PG (NEET-PG) 2024 for admission to MD/MS and PG Diploma Course, Apply Now

 

NEET PG 2024 –  National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) New Delhi invites applications for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test – PG (NEET-PG) 2024 for admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses. NBEMS will conduct NEET-PG 2024 on 23rd June 2024 in online (CBT) Mode in various exam centres across the country

 

National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test – PG (NEET-PG) 2024

 

Scope of NEET-PG 2024

    • NEET-PG 2024 shall be the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses for the academic session 2024-25 which will include the following:
      • All India 50% quota seats for all States/Union territories of India.
      • State quota seats for all States/Union territories of India.
      • All Private Medical Colleges, Institutions & Universities/Deemed Universities all across the country
      • Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions.
      • Post MBBS DNB Courses, Direct 6 years DrNB Courses and Post MBBS NBEMS Diploma Courses
  • The following Medical institutions are not covered by centralized admissions for MD/MS seats through NEET- PG for 2024-25 session:
    • AIIMS, New Delhi and other AIIMS
    • PGIMER, Chandigarh
    • JIPMER, Puducherry
    • NIMHANS, Bengaluru
    • Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum
  • No State Government/Private Medical college/Universities shall be conducting any separate entrance for admission to their MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses for the admission session 2024-25.

 

NEET-PG 2024 Important Dates

  • Availability of the Information Bulletin : 16th April 2024 onwards
  • Online Submission of the Application Form: 16th April 2024 (3 PM Onwards) to 6th May 2024 (Till 11:55 PM)
  • Edit Window for All Payment Success Applications (Any information/documents can be edited except Name, Nationality, Email, Mobile number and Test City) : 10th May 2024 to 16th May 2024
  • Edit Window to rectify Deficient/Incorrect Images (No further opportunity shall be given) 1. Photograph/ 2. Signatures/ 3. Thumb Impression : Pre-Final Edit Window: 28 May to 3rd June 2024 Final Edit Window: 7th June to 10th June 2024
  • Issue of Admit Card : 18th June 2024
  • Date of Examination : 23rd June 2024
  • Declaration of Result : By 15th July 2024
  • Cut-off date for completion of internship towards eligibility for NEET-PG 2024 : 15th August 2024

 

NEET-PG 2024 Eligibility Criteria

  • The eligibility criteria for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses is as follows:
  • Candidates in possession of MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognized as per the provisions of the NMC Act, 2019 and the Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023 and possessing permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the NMC/ the erstwhile Medical Council of India or State Medical Council and have completed one year of internship or are likely to complete the internship on or before 15th August 2024, may apply for NEET-PG 2024 through online application system at website https://natboard.edu.in
  • Candidates found to be ineligible at any stage of NEET-PG 2024 will not be permitted to appear in the examination and/or counseling. In an unlikely event of any ineligible candidate appearing and/or being successful in the NEET-PG 2024, the results/ candidature of such candidate shall be cancelled and/or are deemed to be cancelled.
  • Requests for appearing in NEET-PG 2024 from candidates completing internship after 15th August 2024 or having qualifications that are not recognized as per the NMC Act, 2019 and the repealed IMC Act, 1956 shall be summarily rejected. Candidates are further advised not to canvass for the same.

 

Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Medical Graduates

  • Indian citizens or overseas citizens of India who have obtained their Primary Medical Qualifications from Medical Colleges outside India should have qualified the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (Screening Test) as per Screening Test Regulations, 2002 which is conducted by National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences. Further, they should have been registered with the NMC/ the erstwhile Medical Council of India or State Medical Council and should have completed their internship or likely to complete their internship on or before 15th August 2024.

 

Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Nationals:

  • Their basic Medical Qualification equivalent to MBBS should be recognized by the National Medical Commission.
  • Foreign Nationals desirous of appearing in NEET-PG and those, who are required to have security clearance as per the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) requirements, shall obtain the security clearance from Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India before applying for NEET-PG examination. The security clearance shall be required to be submitted while applying for NEET-PG examination.

NEET-PG 2024 Registration Process

  • Candidates are advised to read the NEET-PG-2024 Information Bulletin will be available at www.nbe.ac.in
  • Application for NEET-PG 2024 can only be submitted online through NBEMS
  • website https://nbe.edu.in and https://natboard.edu.in
  • There is no other methodology for application submission. Application submitted through any other mode shall be summarily rejected. 

 

Examination Fee

    • For General, OBC and EWS – Rs. 3500/-
    • For SC, ST, PwD – Rs. 2500/-
  • Mode of Payment : Through online 

 

NEET-PG 2024 Exam Pattern

  • NEET-PG 2024 shall be conducted in a single day & single session as a computer based examination on 23rd June 2024.
  • The examination shall be a multiple choice questions test delivered using computers network (CBT) as per scheme prescribed.
  • The exam comprises of 200 Multiple Choice Questions with each question having 4 response options/distractors in English language only. Candidates are required to select the correct/best/most appropriate response/answer out of the 4 response options provided in each question. Time allotted is 3 hrs 30 minutes.
  • Marking Scheme: Allocation of marks for each MCQ shall be as follows:
    • Correct Response – 4 Marks
    • Incorrect Response – 1 Mark shall be deducted
    • Unattempted Question – Zero

 

NEET-PG 2024 Syllabus

  • The syllabus for the exam shall comprise of subject/knowledge area as per Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by the erstwhile Medical Council of India with prior approval of the Govt of India. 

 

NEET-PG 2024 Admit Cards

  • Admit cards shall be made live on the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences website https://natboard.edu.in on 18th June 2024. Admit cards will not be issued to candidates found ineligible before the conduct of the examination.
