MP CPCT 2023 – Madhya Pradesh Agency for Promotion of Information Technology invites application form for Madhya Pradesh Computer Proficiency Certification Test (MP CPCT) 2023 to access computer proficiencies and other allied skills of aspirant for related jobs in various Government Departments and Agencies. The CPCT score card is valid for Seven years from the date of issue of score card.
The common objective of CPCT Assessment is to:
- Setting-up a common uniform system for assessment of basic computer proficiency and eliminating the need of different procedures and certifications.
- Develop and sustain computer proficient talent pool certified against acceptable standards for computer and key board proficiency.
- To facilitate all the govt. departments and agencies for their relevant human resource requirements at various levels.
- To develop a transparent, fair, object oriented and scientifically designed system to asses’ relevant capabilities of Candidate to refer during recruitments in various government departments and agencies.

Eligibility Criteria for MP CPCT 2023
- Candidates need to fulfil these eligibility criteria, in order to apply for MP CPCT 2023. Candidates can check the minimum eligibility criteria for MP CPCT 2023 are as follows:
- Educational Qualification: Passed Higher Secondary or Polytechnic Diploma after 10th.
- Lower Age Limit: Should have completed 18 years of age as on the date of registration.
Application Process
- The registration facility is available in both Hindi and English for the candidates.
- Candidates need to register on the CPCT Portal www.cpct.mp.gov.in or MAP-IT Portal www.mapit.gov.in for appearing in CPCT.
Application Fee
- Application Fee is – Rs. 660/- (Rs. Six Hundred Sixty only)
- Mode of Payment – Online (Net Banking / Credit / Debit Cards) or Offline (Cash payment in MP – Online Kiosks)
MP CPCT Exam Pattern 2023
- Candidates have to attempt 2 types of sections under MP CPCT, namely Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and Typing test (English & Hindi). And both of these sections are compulsory for a candidate to attempt.
- Test Duration: The test duration is 120 Minutes. The test will have two sections and both the sections are mandatory to attempt.
- Section A: Computer Proficiency – This will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of 75 minutes.
- Section B: Typing Test – English Typing: 15 minutes and Hindi typing: 15 minutes.
- Note that, the marks obtained in the mock test will not be included in the Scorecard. There will be no negative marking in the Test.

- Basic knowledge of Computer Operations.
- Familiarity with Computer Hardware and Software
- Proficiency in general IT skills, such as Networking, Internet, Email and so on
- Typing skills in English and Hindi languages
