MAH AAC CET 2021 – State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra announces Maharashtra Applied Arts and Crafts Common Entrance Test (MAH AAC CET) 2021 for admission to 4 -year Full-Time undergraduate Degree Courses in Visual Art (Bachelor of Fine Art) for the academic year 2021-2022

MAH AAC CET 2021  Important Dates

  • Online registration & Confirmation of application form on website: 25th June to 25th July 2021
  • Online registration & Confirmation of application form on website (with Additional Late Fee): 25th June to 31st July 2021
  • Payment of Fees through Online Payment Gateway: 25th June to 31st July 2021
  • Selection of CET Center for Practical Exam after payment of Fees: 25th June to 01st August 2021
  • Issue of Hall Ticket (Through Candidate login): To be notified later
  • Date of MAH-AAC-CET 2021 Practical Exam (Object Drawing Practical, Design Practical, Memory Drawing Practical): To be notified later

Eligibility Criteria for MAH AAC CET 2021 

  • Candidates who have passed or appearing for the HSC/12th standard exam with minimum 45% marks (in case of reserved 40%).
  • Age Limit: Candidates with any age are eligible to appear keeping the above criteria constant.
  • Nationality: Candidates who are Indian nationality can apply for MAH AAC CET 2021.
  • Nativity: Given below candidates can claim only one type of Maharashtra State Candidature:
  • Type-A: Passing SSC and also HSC from a recognized institution in Maharashtra State; Candidate who is either Domicile of Maharashtra and/or is born in Maharashtra;
  • Type-B: Candidate who does not fall in Type-A above, but who or whose Father or Mother is domiciled in the State of Maharashtra and possess Domicile Certificate.
  • Type-C: Candidate who does not fall in either Type-A or Type-B but whose Father or Mother is an employee of the Govt. of India or Government of India
  • Type-D: Candidate who does not fall in any of the above Type-A, Type B and Type-C but whose Father or Mother is an employee or retired employee of the Govt. of Maharashtra
  • Type-E: Passing SSC or HSC Exam from a recognized institution located in a disputed Maharashtra Karnataka Border Area and whose Mother tongue is Marathi.

MAH AAC CET 2021  Application Process

  • The candidate has to visit the website https://info.mahacet.org/cet2021/MAH-AAC-CET-2021/ click “New Registration”. The MAH AAC-CET 2021 Registration page opens up wherein he/she has to fill-in the online form.

Application Fee

  • Candidates of BC Categories & PWD Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only – Rs. 1200/-
  • For General Category Candidates from Maharashtra State only – Rs.1700/-
  • Additional Late fee if applicable as per schedule for all category – Rs.500/-
  • Mode of Payment: Through Online Mode

Exam Pattern

  • Mode of Exam: Online and offline mode
  • Paper: 4
  • Medium Language: English
  • Marking Scheme: For every correct 1 mark is allotted and there is no negative marking.

Paper I – Design Practical:

  • Duration: 01 hour 30 minutes
  • Total Questions: 50
  • Total Marks: 50

Paper II – Object Drawing Practical:

  • Duration: 1 Hour
  • Total Questions: 50
  • Total Marks: 50

Paper III – Memory Drawing Practical:

  • Duration: 01 hour 30 minutes
  • Total Questions: 50
  • Total Marks: 50

Paper IV – General Knowledge (Online):

  • Duration: 1 Hour
  • Total Questions: 50
  • Total Marks: 50
