Eligibility Criteria for IIRS JET 2020 

NationalityOnly Indian Nationals should apply.
Educational Qualifications



Any of the following options may be satisfied
M.E. / M.Tech or its equivalent degree should be in first class with an aggregate minimum of 60%
CGPA /CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 scale or equivalent can apply for IIRS JET Exam
M.Sc Degree should be in first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% or CGPA/ CPI grading of 6.84 on a scale or equivalent
B.E, B.Tech degree should be in first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% or CGPA/ CPI grading of 6.84 on a scale or equivalent. 

 

Age Limit

Age for any general candidate eligible to apply for the post of JRF at IIRS is 28 years but relaxable for 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 3 years in case of OBC candidates.

Scheme of Exam

The IIRS-JET will be a computer-based test and will consist of 100 multiple choice questions (MCQ) of one mark each. 
The duration of the test will be 02 HRS (i.e., 120 Minutes). 
The paper will consist of three sections as given below:

IIRS JET 2020 Application Process

Step-1
Candidates must submit their through online only. Interested candidates may visit the IIRS website https://www.iirs.gov.in for detailed information and guidelines.
Step-2
Candidates may apply online on the above website from February 01, 2020 [10:00 Hours] to February 23, 2020 [23:59 Hours].
Step-3
The applicant has to provide (mandatory) E-mail ID for future correspondence/reference.
Step-4
Any request for change of address/e-mail id for communication shall NOT be entertained.
Step-5
The application is not for any recruitment.
Step-6
No accommodation to attend the IIRS-JET shall be provided or arranged by IIRS.
 
CGPA shall be converted into percentage of marks as per the candidate’s university norms.
 
If any information furnished in the online application is found wrong/false/incomplete, the candidate will NOT be called for Written Test.

 

Application Fee

i.
There will be a non-refundable Application Fee of Rs. 1000/- for each application
ii.
Fee must be paid online through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Internet Banking only through SBI E-pay facility at the time of submitting the online application.
