Indore Institute of Law announces Entrance Test (IILET) 2021 for Admission to Law Courses

IILET 2021 – Indore Institute of Law (IIL) Indore invites applications for admission to B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), BBA LL.B. (Hons.), LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M. Programs for the academic year 2021-22. Admission to these courses will be done on the basis of Entrance Test (IILET) 2021.

Eligibility Criteria for IILET 2021

  • Minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2 or an equivalent examination), the candidates must have secured:
  • Forty five percent (45%) marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories.
  • Forty Percent (40%) marks or equivalent in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
  • Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April, 2021 are also eligible to appear in IILET-2021 examination. However, they shall be required to produce evidence of their passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission, failing which they shall lose their right to be considered for admission.
  • The result of the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2) shall be submitted by the candidate at the time of admission failing, which the candidate shall be ineligible for admission to the Course.
  • In case of equal marks, the break of tie shall be by the following procedure and order as under:
  • Higher marks in the component /section on legal aptitude in the IILET-2021 exam.

IILET 2021 Application Process

  • Applicants can apply online by filling up the Application Form available at www.indoreinstituteoflaw.org/
  • Applicants applying online should upload their passport size color photograph while filling the Online Application. The Prospectus will be sent to such applicants.
  • Applicants can fill their details online and download the Application Form from https://www.indoreinstituteoflaw.org/iilet-exam.php

Admission Process

Admission to the 5 Year Integrated program B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) (5 YDC) With Global & Transnational studies, B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) (5 YDC), B.B.A.LL.B.(HONS.) (5 YDC) is made strictly through

  • Admission based on IILET Entrance Test (70% Seats)
  • Entrance Test CLAT / LSAT-India (20% Seats)
  • Admission based on 12th Merit- (10% Seats)- (Merit Basis)
  • Have passed Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2 System) or equivalent Examination with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
  • Age Limit as per (D.A.V.V University and Bar Council of India norms).

For B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) (5 YDC) With Global & Transnational studies, is made strictly through screening at three levels which are as follows:

  • Round 1 The Entrance Test i.e. IILET
  • Round 2 Psychometric Test
  • Round 3 Personal Interview

Admission to the 3 Year program LL.B. (Hons.) (3 YDC) is as follows:

  • Have passed Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2 System) and Graduation(any stream) with at least 45% marks in aggregate for General Category & 40% marks in aggregate for SC/ST Category.
  • No Age Limit (D.A.V.V University and Bar Council of India norms).
  • Candidates appearing/appeared for the Annual Examination in March/April are also eligible to apply.

Admission to the 2 Year Master Program LL.M. (2YMC) is as follows:

  • LL.B.Graduate with at least 55% marks in aggregate for General Category & 50% marks in aggregate for SC/ST Category.
  • No Age Limit (D.A.V.V University and Bar Council of India norms).
  • Note-All the above-mentioned rules & regulations are subject to D.A.V.V University and Bar Council of India.

IILET-2021 Exam Pattern

  • The IILET 2021 would focus on evaluating the comprehension and reasoning skills and abilities of candidates. Overall, it is designed to be a test of aptitude and skills that are necessary for a legal education rather than prior knowledge, though prior knowledge occasionally may be useful to respond to questions in the Current Affairs section.

IILET 2021 Question Paper Format

  • Maximum Marks : 150 Marks
  • Duration of IILET 2021 Exam : 02:00 Hours
  • Multiple-Choice Questions : 150 questions of one mark each
  • Negative Marking : 0.25 Mark for each wrong answer

Subject Areas with weightage:

  • English Language : 28-32 questions – 20%
  • Current Affairs, including General Knowledge : 35-39 questions – 25%
  • Legal Reasoning : 35-39 questions – 25%
  • Logical Reasoning : 28-32 questions – 20%
  • Quantitative Techniques : 13-17 questions – 10%
