- Starting Date of Submission of Online Application Form: 28th March 2024
- Last Date for Submission of Online Application Form along with Fee: 30th April 2024
- Date of Exam: 19th May 2024 (Sunday, 10.00 am to 01:00 PM)
Eligibility Criteria
- The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to 1st year Engineering courses and Architecture Assistantship course etc in Govt. / Private Polytechnics of Himachal Pradesh is that the candidate must have passed 10th standard with 35% marks at the qualifying examination from a recognized Board/University or its equivalents prescribed by the AICTE/COA.
- In case, candidate has appeared or going to appear in matriculation is also eligible to appear in the Entrance test provisionally but his/her eligibility shall be verified at the time of counseling by the central Admission Selection Committee.

- Online Applications Form the desirous eligible applicants are invited through website for seeking admission in Engineering Diploma Courses in the HP State Polytechnic (Govt. and Private) for the Admission Session 2024-25 for which H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board will conduct the Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT-2024)

- Duration of PAT: 3 Hours
- Total No. of Question Asked in Exam: 150 Questions
- Total No. of Marks: 600 Marks
- Type of Question: Objective Type Questions
- Question Paper Section: Four Sections (Mathematics : 50 Questions, Physics : 50 Questions, Chemistry : 30 Questions, English : 20 Questions)
- Marking: 4 marks will be given for every right answer and 1 will be reduced for the wrong answer
