GPAT 2024 – National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) New Delhi invites applications for the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2024 for admission into the Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) course. NBEMS shall conduct the GPAT 2024 on 8th June 2024 on a Computer Based Platform at various test centres across the country.

About GPAT-2024
- GPAT 2024 is a national level examination for award of scholarships to qualified candidates seeking entry into Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) course.
- GPAT 2024 will be conducted by NBEMS.
- Candidates may note that the role of NBEMS is limited to the conduct of GPAT, declaration of the result and handing over the result to the Pharmacy Council of India.
GPAT 2024 Important Dates
- Availability of the Information Bulletin : 19th April 2024 onwards
- Online Submission of the Application Form : 19th April 2024 (3 PM Onwards) to 8th May 2024 (Till 11:55 PM)
- Edit Window for All Payment Success Applications : 11th May 2024 to 14th May 2024
- Final and Selective Edit Window to rectify Deficient/Incorrect Images (No further opportunity shall be given) : Pre-Final Edit Window: 21st May to 23rd May 2024 Final Edit Window: 28th May to 30th May 2024
- Issue of Admit Card : 3rd June 2024
- Date of Examination : 8th June 2024
- Declaration of Result : By 8th July 2024
GPAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates shall have to satisfy all the eligible conditions so as to apply for the exam. The GPAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria are illustrated here. The aspirant must satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria at the time of applying for GPAT 2024
Nationality
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
Academic Qualification
- The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry students) or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Candidates appearing for the final year (4th Year) examination of Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) whose result will be declared before commencement of admission to M. Pharm course for the academic year 2024-25 are eligible to appear in GPAT 2024. Candidates appearing for the Prefinal year (3rd Year) examination of Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) whose results for Final Year (4th Year) will be declared before commencement of admission to M. Pharm course for the academic year 2025-26 are also eligible to appear in GPAT 2024.
- B.E./ B.Tech. (Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemical Technology)/ equivalent candidates are not eligible to appear in GPAT 2024.
Age Limit
- There is no age restriction for appearing in GPAT 2024.
GPAT 2024 Application Process
- Application for GPAT 2024 can only be submitted online through NBEMS website https://natboard.edu.in
- There is no other methodology for application submission. Application submitted through any other mode shall be summarily rejected.
- Candidates are advised to read the Information Bulletin carefully and go through the instructions regarding submission of online application form given in the information bulletin as well as on GPAT 2024 index page on NBEMS website https://natboard.edu.in before starting the online submission process for GPAT 2024.
- Candidates are deemed to have read, agreed and accepted the Information Bulletin and the terms and conditions in the Information Bulletin for GPAT 2024 on completing the online submission of application form.

- General, OBC and EWS : Rs. 3500/-
- SC, ST, PWD : Rs. 2500/-
- Mode of Payment : Online through Canara/ ICICI Credit Card/ Debit Card/Net Banking & Paytm Payment Modes
GPAT 2024 Exam Pattern
- Mode of Examination: Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode
- Duration of Examination: 180 minutes (3. hours)
- Timing of Examination: 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM OR 3.00 PM to 6.00 PM
- Medium of Question Paper: English
- Type of Question: Multiple Choice Questions
- No. of Question: 125 question
- Marking Scheme: Allocation of marks for each MCQ shall be as follows:
- Correct Response – 4 Marks
- Incorrect Response – 1 Mark shall be deducted
- Unattempted Question – Zero

GPAT 2024 Syllabus
- The syllabus for the GPAT shall comprise of subject/knowledge areas as per “The Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) Course Regulations, 2024”.
GPAT Admit Card 2024
- Admit cards shall be made live on National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences website https://natboard.edu.in on 3rd June 2024. Admit cards will not be issued to candidates found ineligible before the conduct of the examination.
